TV show description:
This crime drama is set in Northern Ireland and follows senior investigating officer Stella Gibson (Gillian Anderson). She must temporarily leave her position to enter the Police Service of Northern Ireland to oversee the progress of a murder investigation that has gone on for too long — Operation Musicman.
When she discovers exactly what is going on in the case, she must work with the local detectives to find the culprit, Paul Spector (Jamie Dornan), who is responsible for a crime spree.
Other characters include Paul’s wife, Sally Ann Spector (Bronagh Waugh); solicitor Sarah Kay (Laura Donnelly); Stella’s co-worker PC Danielle Ferrington (Niamh McGrady); and Assistant Chief Constable Jim Burns (John Lynch), Stella’s supervising officer.

This show is Anderson in one of her best roles yet, with great support actors and the Northern Ireland setting is played so IRA edgy!

I loved the show THE FALL I watched all three seasons within a week!!! I was on the edge of my seat the whole time!! It got a bit dark. However, its was always exciting!! I loved Gillian’s character! She was complex and always left me wanting to see her more!!! I want to see her find another “really bad guy” in maybe London! Jamie was awesome…I think I may always be afraid of this poor guy who was just playing a part…..but yes I just looked at his photo…still scares me beyond words!!! Canada loves The Fall and I think that Stella is such a complex character and should keep going for several other seasons. Even if Paul Spector is no longer around defiantly keep going. So many other story lines are possible… please lets have a season 4 and then some. This is TV at its best!

I love “the fall” and him being dead could be twisted into something else. Or it could have continuous flashbacks. Like ween he started his crimes, what he wanted Katie to do (which was never explained) almost like a prequel because he got caught way too early and there is so much we still don’t know about his other crime. Too many cliffhangers. I for one as an Amarican absolutely love seeing shows shot in other countries. The fact it was north Ireland was one of my favorite things about the show.
