It wasn’t a positive start for The Finder at all. It lost nearly 30% from its Bones lead-in in the demo and could only beat The CW’s Secret Circle in the timeslot. When compared with other FOX scripted shows, The Finder’s season average only beats Fringe on Friday nights. Even the already cancelled Allen Gregory performed better.
Note: These ratings are collected by the Nielsen company and are the final national numbers. These are different from the fast affiliate numbers which are just estimates of the actual ratings and are reported on by most other outlets. The final nationals are typically released within 24 hours of the programming or, in the case of weekends and holidays, a couple days later.
What do you think? Do you like the Finder TV series? Do you think it should be cancelled or be renewed for a second season?

With all the garbage that is one TV, you always find one of my favorite shows to cancel.
Most of the time the shows ratings depend on the time slot, not how good it is.
Nice going, network execs.
I LOVE this show. It’s different from anything else on tv and it captivates. It was the only show I actually sat down to watch, full attention. Give it another (real) chance!!!!
Please say its not so! The Finder was refreshing and different! I personally liked it better than Bones..(recently) Walter was one great character and I adored Willa.. vulnerable but foxy.. Boo- hiss Fox.. you didn’t know a great show when you had one!!! I want to know what will happen to Walter now.. after his arrest by the feds and to Willa as she runs away from her forced gypsy wedding… thumb in the wind.. I am crushed with disappointment!
I loved this show – it was different from other “cop”, “lawyer” or “hospital” shows! I can’t believe it is cancelled – please bring it back.
One of two shows I would watch each week. Big disappointment to see it is cancelled
Finder and Alcatrez were the shows that I liked so much! I cannot beleive that FOX cancelled them?? May be some other station will pacik them up.
I really enjoyed this program. I loved the diversification of the cast … young to old, serious to questionable and a wide range of talents. It made me laugh, cry and ponder on some of the philosophical comments the characters debated on. I feel the time slot did it in even though Fringe followed it. I’m an older viewer and it kept me guessin at what would happen next and I’m a good guesser. There are too many reality shows and lawyer-police shows going on … though this touched on the lawyer-police category a bit, it still was a “feel-good”… Read more »
I thought the Finder was great, but not in the best time slot. Fox does not have to many show that I watch so please do NOT put on another reality show. The Finder was different and good.
Fox has lost it’s mind! Fox has very few Good shows which I can count one one hand. Not everyone wants Reality shows or animated shows. Fox please bring back, The Finder! The cast was wonderful!
House gone.
Bones is getting old.
Touched is predicable.
I really hope that USA picks up The Finder, I loved this show from the start, it is quirky and witty, it explores the difference between right and wrong the way that House does, but instead of detesting the main character you love him.
Great show. Funny, witty, love the cast. Should have kept it in one timeslot so it could develop a following. Don’t know why FOX is cancelling.
This show was so engaging, and it wasn’t your typical crime show. Fox is making a bad choice by not renewing it. I am very sad to see it go 🙁
The finder is great almost missed it when they changed the day show should be renewed especially after the finale. Would love to see where they go from there.
I LOVED the show and I HATE to see it cancelled. It’s one of the FEW shows that I watch!
I am so tired of getting interested in the shows you put on and then they get taken off as soon as you really start liking them and wondering what will happen next.
