If you need proof that The Firm is doomed to be cancelled by NBC, you just have to look at the show’s ratings. Not only did the new legal series bomb on Thursday nights but it’s currently being trounced on Saturday nights as well — airing opposite CSI: New York repeats, 20/20, and FOX’s forgotten Q’Viva! The Chosen reality series.
The ratings for The Firm have been so poor that one had to start wondering if NBC might bump the series off the Saturday schedule as well. Well, that’s what they’re doing — at least for one week.
This week’s episode of The Firm has been replaced by a rerun of the 90-minute premiere of Fashion Star (which debuts tonight). That will be followed by an encore of the first episode of Betty White’s Off Their Rockers, which first aired in January. Rockers returns to the NBC schedule on April 4th.
On March 24th, NBC has slotted an episode of the USA Network series Fairly Legal at 8pm, a slot that had been filled by reruns of Smash. The network hasn’t announced which episode of Fairly Legal will air but the season two opener (which will run this Friday on USA) seems likely.
The network is shaking up their Saturday night schedule and if they can come up with better numbers than what The Firm has been getting, the legal drama could easily be off the schedule for good. NBC has aired just 10 of the show’s 22 episodes thus far.
What do you think? Are you still watching NBC’s The Firm? Do you watch the episodes on Saturday nights, on demand or online? Would you be upset if NBC pulled it for good?

Please DO NOT cancel this show!! It is too good. There is so many tv shows to choose from these days so it is hard to watch or record and watch later everything but this is a good one. Please finish out at least the 22 shows and the storyline. Don’t leave us hanging NBC!!
why are canceling The Firm. I think it is a great show. There are not enough shows like this.
The Firm is a great series just hard to find when it’s on because they keep moving it around. Don’t cancel it. I don’t watch much TV and love this show.
Please do not cancel the firm. Do you have to support shows that has no substance and teaching wrong values. I love watching the firm. Thanks.
This is by far my favorite show and it doesn’t matter what day it is on, I will watch. I love it!!! Do not cancel it!
Great show
From what I’m hearing it’s as good as gone which is really a shame. I, too, enjoy the show and cannot wait until the next week to see what happens next. I didn’t watch when it first aired but just happened to catch it about midway through. I was so thankful that it was On Demand so I could go back and see what I missed and catch up!! I was upset that it had been moved from Thursday nights because I knew the handwriting was on the wall. I hope NBC doesn’t make a bad decision (to cancel) worse,… Read more »
The firm is one of the best shows on tv, it has built to a heart racing thrill fear. I hope the network doesn’t need every show to be an Over night hit, we need more to watch than amateurs losing weight and singing songs
My husband and I loved this show! Very sad it’s cancelled. We would like to see the rest of it. Is it on DVD?
I love the Firm! I never saw it was to be aired until it was recommended to me on HULU. It is an amazing show and I wish it would get more marketing on NBC!
DO NOT CANCEL THE FIRM. I agree that the show was poorly marketed. The only time I saw it advertised was during the NFL playoffs. If NBC would just spend some money to market the show they would receive ratings. If NBC cancels it will be the last NBC show I watch. I usually catch in on demand due to busy schedule and have many friends who do as well. I’m not sure how that effects ratings.
I love this show too, it keeps me on the edge of my seat. I don’t want them to cancel the show
My husband and I really love this show. Like others have said we can’t wait to watch the next episode and it is refreshing to actually see values portrayed – truth, marriage, family. Please don’t cancel. I hate it when they cancel good shows like when Fox cancelled Lie to Me.
I so agree. I love lie to me as well!!!
I love this show as well and i really hope its not cancelled for good!!!
Too many flashbacks. Fox 24hrs. Is available for reference
