If you need proof that The Firm is doomed to be cancelled by NBC, you just have to look at the show’s ratings. Not only did the new legal series bomb on Thursday nights but it’s currently being trounced on Saturday nights as well — airing opposite CSI: New York repeats, 20/20, and FOX’s forgotten Q’Viva! The Chosen reality series.
The ratings for The Firm have been so poor that one had to start wondering if NBC might bump the series off the Saturday schedule as well. Well, that’s what they’re doing — at least for one week.
This week’s episode of The Firm has been replaced by a rerun of the 90-minute premiere of Fashion Star (which debuts tonight). That will be followed by an encore of the first episode of Betty White’s Off Their Rockers, which first aired in January. Rockers returns to the NBC schedule on April 4th.
On March 24th, NBC has slotted an episode of the USA Network series Fairly Legal at 8pm, a slot that had been filled by reruns of Smash. The network hasn’t announced which episode of Fairly Legal will air but the season two opener (which will run this Friday on USA) seems likely.
The network is shaking up their Saturday night schedule and if they can come up with better numbers than what The Firm has been getting, the legal drama could easily be off the schedule for good. NBC has aired just 10 of the show’s 22 episodes thus far.

Can’t believe it has low ratings. We think the show is great and watch it every week. It’s the only show we watch on Saturday night. Give this drama a chance!
Great TV drama. Fast moving, keeps you on the edge of your seat. Lets keep it on the air. Much better than the reality and talent search shows on the air.
I really like this show. Great weekly story lines as well as the main story line carry over keeps it interesting. Can’t wait for each next episode to see how the main story develops. Hope this season takes it to a good conclusion if they end up cancelling the series. Not like they left us hanging with the cancellation of the Event. If they don’t finish this one off better then they did the Event I’m done with NBC!

I would be extremely upset and annoyed if this excellent show got taken off the air like so many other have had done to them!!! This is a fantastic show and so well acted with great storylines and such action and drama. It is one of the most intelligent shows on today.

Each time an episode ends, we are left with eagerness to know what will happen next. It is a very interesting and gripping show! We were left to wonder what happened when it moved from Thursdays to Saturdays. Again, PLEASE DO NOT CANCEL IT! THANK YOU VERY MUCH!!!!
Please do not cancel this show! It is very riveting and keeps me on the edge of my seat for the full hour! I If I am home on Saturday night, I watch live! If I am out, I record it on my DVR and watch when I get home, regardless of how late!

This is one of the best shows on tv!! This last episode kept me on the edge of my seat the whole hour. Maybe it was slow getting started but it’s phenomenal now. Please don’t cancel it. It’s actually a show worth watching (which there aren’t that many anymore).
