If you need proof that The Firm is doomed to be cancelled by NBC, you just have to look at the show’s ratings. Not only did the new legal series bomb on Thursday nights but it’s currently being trounced on Saturday nights as well — airing opposite CSI: New York repeats, 20/20, and FOX’s forgotten Q’Viva! The Chosen reality series.
The ratings for The Firm have been so poor that one had to start wondering if NBC might bump the series off the Saturday schedule as well. Well, that’s what they’re doing — at least for one week.
This week’s episode of The Firm has been replaced by a rerun of the 90-minute premiere of Fashion Star (which debuts tonight). That will be followed by an encore of the first episode of Betty White’s Off Their Rockers, which first aired in January. Rockers returns to the NBC schedule on April 4th.
On March 24th, NBC has slotted an episode of the USA Network series Fairly Legal at 8pm, a slot that had been filled by reruns of Smash. The network hasn’t announced which episode of Fairly Legal will air but the season two opener (which will run this Friday on USA) seems likely.
The network is shaking up their Saturday night schedule and if they can come up with better numbers than what The Firm has been getting, the legal drama could easily be off the schedule for good. NBC has aired just 10 of the show’s 22 episodes thus far.
What do you think? Are you still watching NBC’s The Firm? Do you watch the episodes on Saturday nights, on demand or online? Would you be upset if NBC pulled it for good?

I love the show, please don’t cancel it.
best show in a long time without liberal understones. Look forward to it every week.
The Firm is the BEST show in years! I stumbled on the show by accident but absolutely Love it!! Since then I have purchased —purchased—the season on iTunes. Its just that good! The only thing this show needs is exposure. Simply promote and advertise the show. The great acting, brillant writing and intriguing plots will hook any viewer. PLEASE PLEASE renew this show. It is an amazingly good drama.
No! No! No! Don’t cancel it!!! It’s he ONLY show worth watching on network tv. LOVE all the characters!!
Don’t cancel this exciting show!
It is action packed & we love the characters! It reminds us of 24!! But that show had gotten so over the top violent!!
don’t cancel. I love this show.
Please do NOT cancel The Firm. We do record it, and my husband and I both just love the show. Great plot, great suspense. Reminds us a bit of 24.
The Firm is one of our favorite shows and we look forward to it each week. We no longer watch Glee or Smash as we resent scenes of sex and homosexuality in such detail. The Firm is an exciting show and anything not televised else is left to the imagination. Please do not cancel.
Yes, It’s one of my favs too. I think it’s one of the best shows on network tv. It’s a shame that it didn’t get better Promo so that more people saw it.
I LOVE “The Firm” – the show has a lot of action in it and is very suspensful. The characters instill a sense of “family” and there are also comedic moments in the show. It’s a show with everything – how can NBC think of cancelling it? I will be very disappointed if NBC cuts this show! I am getting very fed up with networks putting on new shows and then not giving them a chance and thus cancelling them. Viewers just get interested in a show and then it’s gone. I am thinking not to watch any other new… Read more »

I love The Firm. Keep it on.
One of my favs. It’s been great to see Juliette Lewis. She spins my wheels.
We LOVE this show. There’s never a dull moment and the characters are great. We’ve watched it on Saturdays (thanks to our DVR) and will watch it as long as it’s on. We’ll be very upset if it’s cancelled. It’s one of the best shows on TV right now.
