TV show description:
Patrick Jane (Simon Baker), a consultant with the California Bureau of Investigation (CBI), pays attention to the details. As he stands at a crime scene, he shifts his gaze over the particulars that others often miss and mentally sorts through the information. His surveillance skills have repeatedly helped the CBI solve serious crimes.
He’s well known within the organization for his observation skills, as well as his past scam work when he pretended to be a psychic medium. What his fellow agents don’t know is that Patrick’s intense dedication to solving crimes stems from the losses he’s suffered in his personal life.
Patrick’s crime-solving methods are unconventional to be sure and Senior Agent Teresa Lisbon (Robin Tunney) is opposed to him joining her unit. It’s not always easy for her to admit when Patrick is right but she’s always quick to criticize when he crosses the line.
The other members of her team include Kimball Cho (Tim Kang), Wayne Rigsby (Owain Yeoman), and rookie Grace Van Pelt (Amanda Righetti). They’re all united in their opinion of Patrick. While he is reckless, Patrick is both dedicated and skilled at solving cases. The proof is in the details.

Lisbon and Jane decide to get married but a killer named Lazarus is bent on revenge and tries to take their happy ending. He’s ultimately arrested and the lovebirds get to enjoy their special day with friends and family in attendance.

I agree with Jackie, Oct 26, 2014. Please, please DON’T take The Mentalist off of the air. I enjoy this non-swearing, non-sexual, and fully clothed people on it.
There are a few shows that are excellent and that I absolutely LOVE. The Mentalist is one of them. Please don’t cancel it. Two of my other favorites are being cancelled as well. Parenthood and Blue Collar. Why keep trashy shows and add to the dumbing down of America. COME ON!!!!
Why do networks always take off the shows that are worth watching and leave the trash shows still showing? The good shows are becoming fewer and fewer. Why do we keep paying for TV when it’s not worth watching?

bring back the mentalist it is the only show where you don not hear the f word all the time.
You all messed with the schedule and football. We wanted it in a better spot and now you are cancelling a popular and not immoral show. At least give it another chance with a better time slot and then make a decision.
I love the mentalist. Please bring it back. And get rid of Person of Interest tv show. That was ruined when you got rid of Carter.
I love this show. I don’t know why they take all the great shows off and leave the crappy shows on. It’s getting so bad theres not much on tv any more.

It is an amazing show….. That’s too bad that season 7 is the final season….
I certainly hope the decision to cancel Mentalist will be reversed. It has been a favorite of mine since the original episode and I always to look forward to viewing it. So many new corny shows are replacing the really good ones and they do not come close to the content of Mentalist. Please reconsider and keep the fans happy.

I’ve been watching “TheMentalist” since the beginning. I have always enjoyed the performances but was disappointed in the last season. I would like to see it continue but return to more of what made it so good earlier; less of the Semi-Romantic interaction and more of the mystery solving. The conclusion of the “Red John” conflict was good but I’ve enjoyed the reflections of Patrick Jane and his earlier careers more. Simon Baker is a gifted and enjoyable actor giving his character a realism that’s had me hooked for it’s entire run.
Cancelling the Mentalist is absurd!!!! Great cast with even better chemistry! !!!!
