FOX’s The Mob Doctor continues stave off cancellation but for how long? That will likely have a lot to do with the ratings. Will tonight’s numbers help or hurt the show’s future?
The Mob Doctor stars Jordana Spiro as a hospital doctor who secretly works as a physician for Chicago mobsters. The cast also includes Floriana Lima, Zach Gilford, Željko Ivanek, Wendy Makkena, Jesse Lee Soffer, William Forsythe, and James Carpinello.
The show debuted to a disappointing 1.5 rating in the 18-49 demographic with 5.11 million total viewers. It received lots of negative reviews, lost a significant percentage of its Bones lead-in and only tied for third place in its timeslot.
Last week, opposite tougher competition, Mob Doctor’s ratings fell to a 1.3 in the demo with 3.85 million — declines of 13% and 25% respectively.

I think it has possibilities. I like the cast. It should have a chance to develope a following. A lot of good shows are gone because they are not given a real chance.
Please keep The Mob Doctor! There are lots of story possibilities waiting to be told. Great cast. Look forward to it each week.
