The third season of The Originals kicks off on The CW on October 8th. If you’d like to watch the second season before that premiere, we have three chances for you to win the season on Blu-ray.
The Originals: The Complete Second Season on Blu-ray features all 22 episodes — plus the 2014 Comic-Con panel, featurettes, behind the scenes, deleted scenes, and a gag reel. Here’s the season description:
As Original vampire-werewolf hybrid Klaus Mikaelson returned to the vibrant, supernaturally charged city of New Orleans in season one, he was stunned to learn — along with his siblings Elijah and Rebekah — that Hayley, a werewolf, was pregnant with his child, and his vampire protégé, Marcel, whom the Original siblings had thought long dead, was ruling the French Quarter. Klaus struggles with weaknesses as Elijah desperately tries to save Hayley — now a hybrid — from a vicious spiral of self-destruction. The season three is going to be a war, cause it has been shown in season 2 hw much more threat and war coming and what on is really a great threat towrd klaus he has a lot of enemy and less friend he his the most threat in the family and his brother finn is also a threat his sister rebekah is his trusted ally and their family is turning upside down but the main goal for the enemy is to eliminate klaus cus he his the strongest of the mikealson family.

Season 2 of the Originals was epic. I just finished re watching the first season 1 of the Originals on blu-ray and loved it. The series works very well and you don’t need to watch the Vampire Diaries to enjoy it. Each member of the cast deserves Emmy nominations.

This show, especially this season has been dramatic , suspenseful , and kept you interested throughout the season with twists and turns.
Only reason I started watching The Vampire Diaries was because I found out the Originals was a spin-off, but to me the Originals is much more compelling and enjoyable. By far the best show of its kind, and I usually avoid vampire and werewolf shows like the plague because they are everywhere. Just something about this show that hooked me from the beginning.
