TV show description:
This singing competition TV series is hosted by recording artist Nick Lachey. The show scours the country in search of the best a cappella groups, ranging in various sizes and ages.
The competition begins with 8-16 singing groups who have been chosen by audition. They each perform popular songs in weekly competitions and one group is eliminated each week via judges voting. Prior to the live finale, viewers help decide the winner.
The winning singing group walks away with a Sony Music recording contract and $200,000.

What was supposed to be a fifth season aired as a two-hour holiday special. Lachey, Stockman, and Jewel returned but Patrick Stump of Fall Out Boy replaced Folds.

there is no better show that shows such PURE talent….anyone that can sing without music to back them up, well that is TALENT… I hope and pray that you do bring this show back!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
One of the best shows to air. Please run it again. It truly is a great show.
The only show left that had any true talent. These artists WORKED TOGETHER and showed what it means to work as a team. My family and I anxiously awaited this show every week. So sad that other trash remains on tv. Let’s pray SMASH doesn’t get canceled!
Everything decent on TV seems to get cancelled! Really sorry to see this show go–hopefully another network will pick it up. This showcased REAL talent-unlike some other reality shows…
It is with deep regret and sadness that I have learned that The ” Sing- Off ” was cancelled for their fourth season. Growing up in New York with ” Broadway Musicals ” , and singing in chorus’s throughout my childhood and adulthood, the ” Sing-Off ” was and still is the most educational and entertaining musical television series that I have ever experienced.
