TV show description:
Former astronaut Steve Austin (Lee Majors) is severely injured in a jet crash and is partially rebuilt using state-of-the-art technology.
His right arm, both legs and left eye are all replaced by bionic implants which give him incredible strength, speed and vision. He uses these superhuman abilities to work as a secret agent for the government’s Office of Scientific Intelligence (OSI).
Receiving his orders directly from OSI Director Oscar Goldman (Richard Anderson), Steve is kept in working order by Dr. Rudy Wells (Alan Oppenheimer, later Martin E. Brooks).
Steve is in love with tennis pro Jaime Sommers (Lindsay Wagner) who is later involved in an accident that results in her receiving bionics and moving to her own series The Bionic Woman.
