The CW is starting over on Monday nights. They’ve cancelled both Star-Crossed and The Tomorrow People after one season apiece.
On The Tomorrow People, a teenager (Robbie Amell) discovers that he has paranormal abilities. He also learns that others like him have gone into hiding because they’re being hunted by a paramilitary group of scientists known as Ultra. The rest of the cast includes Luke Mitchell, Peyton List, Aaron Yoo, Mark Pellegrino, and Madeleine Mantock.
The drama debuted back in October and aired on Wednesday nights, paired with the network’s popular Arrow series. It performed well in the beginning but the ratings fell over the course of the season, dropping as low as a 0.4 rating in the 18-49 demographic and 1.24 million viewers.
The series moved to Monday nights and lost even more viewers. In last April, The Tomorrow People hit a series low, drawing just 760,000 viewers.
The season (now series) finale, which aired this week, left plenty of story opportunities for a second season but it won’t be happening.

As a kid, I loved the original and the remake was even better in my opinion. Unfortunately, I think a lot of my favorite shows tend to be cerebral and or extremely far removed from normal life. Sadly, a lot of complicated shows take too much of an investment in time and intellect for the average viewer. And those shows that are works of extreme fiction ( I.e. Idiots…… what are they doing !!!!! Sack the people in charge…… get rid of the reality tv shows….. and give the people some entertainment instead of watching repeats !!!!!!
This was one of my favorite tv shows on the CW. They shouldn’t have canceled it. If anything gone 1 more season to answer all the questions us fans have.

The show is very great and has a perfect story. You can’t just hang the story like that. Please bring THE TOMORROW PEOPLE back! Even though it has low ratings, there are still a lot watching it and waiting for it. BRINGING BACK THE TOMORROW PEOPLE FOR ANOTHER SEASON IS A MUST.

I am gutted! I really loved this show I only started watching it all on catch up but it is really stupid that they cancelled it with such a good ending to season one they should really bring it back!!!!!!!!
I am very disappointed that this show is edning and very very angry. This show has one of the best first seasons i have seen. I also know at least 70 ptjer people that love this show and I know that there a heaps heaps more. They should bring this back as a huge bunch possibilities opened up for a second season that can bring back viewers.

I am so disappointed about the cancellation of the Tomorrow People. Please try to bring it back or take it to the SyFy Channel. I wish the CW channel would bring the Tomorrow People back. My husband is not into series like syfyish, but he liked watching this with me. Please consider bringing it back. This was the only reason, I watched the CW Channel.
It was one of the best shows on the CW. They should’ve given it another season to pick up more viewers. Other more successful channels do that! What a shame , I was so looking forward to what happens next!!!
