The CW is starting over on Monday nights. They’ve cancelled both Star-Crossed and The Tomorrow People after one season apiece.
On The Tomorrow People, a teenager (Robbie Amell) discovers that he has paranormal abilities. He also learns that others like him have gone into hiding because they’re being hunted by a paramilitary group of scientists known as Ultra. The rest of the cast includes Luke Mitchell, Peyton List, Aaron Yoo, Mark Pellegrino, and Madeleine Mantock.
The drama debuted back in October and aired on Wednesday nights, paired with the network’s popular Arrow series. It performed well in the beginning but the ratings fell over the course of the season, dropping as low as a 0.4 rating in the 18-49 demographic and 1.24 million viewers.
The series moved to Monday nights and lost even more viewers. In last April, The Tomorrow People hit a series low, drawing just 760,000 viewers.
The season (now series) finale, which aired this week, left plenty of story opportunities for a second season but it won’t be happening.

i’m from the uk and i watch it every wednesday ! by the sounds of things this show is pretty popular in the uk ! maybe they should try targeting uk more !
It cannot end! This is not how it should end! This series consisted of such mystery and a variety of climax’s, it was brilliant. When I say this, I think I speak for a great population! Multiple unanswered questions and a series of unsolved mysteries? There has to be a second season! I do hope the release is reconsidered, because, tht Tomorrow People completes my Wednesday nights…
NOOOO they cannot cancel the tomorrow people, it’s like the best show ever, in the UK the second from last episode airs tonight on E4, but most people either record the episode or steam off the internet, so if they want real ratings get the amount of streaming and the amount of recorded, this could get the ratings up. JUST MAKE A SECOND SERIES ALREADY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
C’mon Tomorrow people was so superb and so interesting. its a unique show compared to other please bring it back. I don’t what kind of show will replace that.

I really did like this show and it’s a shame they are cancelling it because it had great potential. Like most TV networks they give up quite easily if the demographic 18-24 range doesn’t keep in the high numbers, they also don’t take into consideration the number demographics from other countries. I.e. the UK where I’m from. Where this show has a large fan base aswell. However the decision has already been made and it was good while it lasted. Maybe they’ll see the error of their ways and make a season 2, but it’s big highly doubtful!!
They can’t cancel the show because there are a lot of reasons for it, maybe some viewers are behind schedule and most likely that every viewer prefers downloading the series rather than watching it on air 🙁
Bring it back ! get rid of duck dynasty some other reality show…or arrow…isn’t he out of them yet? They brought back 24 as stupid as that show is….WHO IS WATCHING ALL THE STUPID REALITY AND SOAP OPERAS? GET A LIFE! tomorrow people was a good show!

What?! NO!!! Honestly, this is my fave show, and I watch a lot of shows. They can’t just cancel it!!!! The numbers are probably low because people are streaming it or something. IDK but they CANT CANCEL IT THAT SHOW IS MY LIFE NOOOOO
