The CW is starting over on Monday nights. They’ve cancelled both Star-Crossed and The Tomorrow People after one season apiece.
On The Tomorrow People, a teenager (Robbie Amell) discovers that he has paranormal abilities. He also learns that others like him have gone into hiding because they’re being hunted by a paramilitary group of scientists known as Ultra. The rest of the cast includes Luke Mitchell, Peyton List, Aaron Yoo, Mark Pellegrino, and Madeleine Mantock.
The drama debuted back in October and aired on Wednesday nights, paired with the network’s popular Arrow series. It performed well in the beginning but the ratings fell over the course of the season, dropping as low as a 0.4 rating in the 18-49 demographic and 1.24 million viewers.
The series moved to Monday nights and lost even more viewers. In last April, The Tomorrow People hit a series low, drawing just 760,000 viewers.
The season (now series) finale, which aired this week, left plenty of story opportunities for a second season but it won’t be happening.

Why dies every good program get canceled before they really give it a chance I love tomorrow people please rethink cancelling it It’s a great program extremely watchable with good story lines The same goes for starcrossed but yet crap program’s seem to get away with going on for numerous series it sucks
It is a good show please rethink its cancellation. It deserves another season! Ive seen that a few of the shows I like to watch have been canselled without putting a finish to the stories. In my opinion thats a crime at least finish the story lines people!
Omg i so love this show, it is fantastic and i will be absolutely gutted if its cancelled. Why not put it in a prime tv position so more people can see it and advertise it more. Too many great shows are being cancelled without a thought for the loyal fans that this show now has 🙁 Seriously fed up and upset Deb 🙁
You gotta be freaking kidding me! Again! Another one of my favorite shows gets canceled! Sure the tomorrow people had a slow start. I thought it wasn’t that good till the latter episodes where they started finding their groove. The show ended up being awesome though! The season finale didn’t just blow my mind- it blew it up, brought it back together, disintegrated it, reanimated it, then blasted it with a nuke! Come on CW! Ya done messed up!
So annoyed that they cancelled the tomorrow people, watched the series in two days I was that hooked!
the season finale left such a good cliffhanger aswell, its a shame to see them cancel interesting shows, keeping awful ones instead.

they cancel everything, everything we like >:( . Star-Crossed to… I hate reality series now.. Come on, I don’t think the CW sees that they get more people watching the CW because of Star-Crossed and The Tomorrow People.. And now they are cancelling it, they should just cancel the CW. Because who wants to see reality TV? I am from the uk and it is a very popular show and nearly everyone I know loves it too and I would hate to see this program disappear because it is the best show I have ever watched forget about the soap and everything like that becaus the tomorrow people is awash and I hope CW read these comments and take them into concideration because this is the BEST and I would hate this show to go I think the comments before me want it back too so please make another series because it is the BESTEST SHOW IN… Read more »
Please do another episode because this is my faviourite program in the entire world and if this show is cancelled I will litterly cry because I love it that much.
Why do they have to cancel the tomorrow people season2, because it was the best show ever and if they cancel this show, I don’t think there will be a better show than the tomorrow people. Hate to see it cancelled. It better than all these fact reality shows and getting a little sick of all the talents shows except for theVoice.
