The CW is starting over on Monday nights. They’ve cancelled both Star-Crossed and The Tomorrow People after one season apiece.
On The Tomorrow People, a teenager (Robbie Amell) discovers that he has paranormal abilities. He also learns that others like him have gone into hiding because they’re being hunted by a paramilitary group of scientists known as Ultra. The rest of the cast includes Luke Mitchell, Peyton List, Aaron Yoo, Mark Pellegrino, and Madeleine Mantock.
The drama debuted back in October and aired on Wednesday nights, paired with the network’s popular Arrow series. It performed well in the beginning but the ratings fell over the course of the season, dropping as low as a 0.4 rating in the 18-49 demographic and 1.24 million viewers.
The series moved to Monday nights and lost even more viewers. In last April, The Tomorrow People hit a series low, drawing just 760,000 viewers.
The season (now series) finale, which aired this week, left plenty of story opportunities for a second season but it won’t be happening.

I do not think it should be canaled because i watched it every week and loved it i was really looking forward to see a second season but this happens to most good tv show
the tomorrow people should have a season 2 because we don’t know what john is going to do with all of them yet
a tv show can not end on a clif hanger like that this is why no one watches tv any more because when u start a tv it get canalled
Why cancel it!! Its just another really good programme what US tv have cancelled. please! Reconsider or let another channel take over cause in the uk its popular give the rights to E4. I just don’t understand why cancel it, season 2 for the win reconsider please!!!!
What about UK viewing figures or do we not count? Too many good shows starting then getting dropped after 1 season cause U.S figures are low.
Why? Just why? It was the best show I have seen in years and it ends in a cliffhanger the ratings were great around here this is just awful!
Seriously? The tomorrow people is a great series! To cancel it after just one series is ridiculous! Some people dont start to watch a series until the second or third season anyway they havent even given them a chance to build a reputation for the show! Why do you have to end the tommorow people it’s the only tv program I am interested in and it is probably the best show I have ever seen.i have seen every single episode of season 1 and I’m dying for a season 2. Hi, I’m so gutted that the tomorrow people has been cancelled. Only had one seasons and it the only programme I have sat and watched. Every wednesday I was looking forward to watching, I say give it another seasons take a risk.
I admit I am one of these people who begin to tune out midway through the series, but I regret it more than anyone could, the drama is well handled, and the science fiction tops it off. Seeing how ordinary drama can exist within the tomorrow people universe gives a much better impression that people could possibly not see the full picture around them
So let me say I am in favour of tomorrow people season 2 as I’m sure many others are, am I right?
So annoyed I invested my time in another show from america shown in the uk only to be cancelled. It was the best show I had seen since lost so why I dont know. I wont bother next time it happens again and again…

Absolutely disgusting sick and tired of watching American tv shows and they always cancel after one season. What’s the point in even starting to watch, they need to get a grip and give the viewers a chance to get into them first!!!!

Tomorrow people should not be cancelled its amazing me and my partner have watched it from the beginning and are gutted its been axed when there is other Tv programmes out there that have seriously run there cause bring the second season on to our Tv’s!!!!
I cannot believe that it has been stop!!! not impressed! i am in love with the tomorrow people and every episode i either screaming or gasping, this show never fails to amaze me! i strongly reccommed that you carry on the program! been left on such a good storyline and there can be so much more to it! this can not end! really am disappointed that is has stopped! such an amazing show now im buggered for wednesdays night! 🙁
