The CW is starting over on Monday nights. They’ve cancelled both Star-Crossed and The Tomorrow People after one season apiece.
On The Tomorrow People, a teenager (Robbie Amell) discovers that he has paranormal abilities. He also learns that others like him have gone into hiding because they’re being hunted by a paramilitary group of scientists known as Ultra. The rest of the cast includes Luke Mitchell, Peyton List, Aaron Yoo, Mark Pellegrino, and Madeleine Mantock.
The drama debuted back in October and aired on Wednesday nights, paired with the network’s popular Arrow series. It performed well in the beginning but the ratings fell over the course of the season, dropping as low as a 0.4 rating in the 18-49 demographic and 1.24 million viewers.
The series moved to Monday nights and lost even more viewers. In last April, The Tomorrow People hit a series low, drawing just 760,000 viewers.
The season (now series) finale, which aired this week, left plenty of story opportunities for a second season but it won’t be happening.

Please don’t cancel this show…… My hubby and I love it all the gold programmes get cancelled it’s not fair, and yes I am stamping my feet!!
Please re consider about The Tomorrow People Tv Series. I find it very interesting and the ending where John has been brain washed by jedikiah. it does not matter about people view but i personally love this show and eager if CW will bring season 2.

My daughter and I are absolutely gutted that The Tomorrow People has been cancelled. This is seriously edge of your seat stuff. We could not wait to watch this every Wednesday and was our favourite show on tele. CW please re-consider!!!!!!!!!

actually the cancellation of the tomorrow people tv series dis appoint me for so many reasons…the show is good and awesome, the casts performed their part very well.. Hoiw could you cancel this kind of show? i really can’t understand . Please try your best to renew it i will appreciate it more if you do..

I cant believe they’ve cancelled TTP. I agree that we here in the UK suffer because of US ratings. Last nights season finale was brilliant and i just cat believe there wont be a season 2! Im gutted – Wednesday nights just wont be the same!! The network have made a huge f*** up! I think that another network should pick it up and run with it! BRING BACK THE TOMORROW PEOPLE!!!!!!

My partner and myself really loved this show we watch it in the UK and we cant believe there will be no seaon 2. once again another cancellation by the CW weve been sucked into the series then butt fucked cant believe they’ve cancelled on us Brits again
