The CW is starting over on Monday nights. They’ve cancelled both Star-Crossed and The Tomorrow People after one season apiece.
On The Tomorrow People, a teenager (Robbie Amell) discovers that he has paranormal abilities. He also learns that others like him have gone into hiding because they’re being hunted by a paramilitary group of scientists known as Ultra. The rest of the cast includes Luke Mitchell, Peyton List, Aaron Yoo, Mark Pellegrino, and Madeleine Mantock.
The drama debuted back in October and aired on Wednesday nights, paired with the network’s popular Arrow series. It performed well in the beginning but the ratings fell over the course of the season, dropping as low as a 0.4 rating in the 18-49 demographic and 1.24 million viewers.
The series moved to Monday nights and lost even more viewers. In last April, The Tomorrow People hit a series low, drawing just 760,000 viewers.
The season (now series) finale, which aired this week, left plenty of story opportunities for a second season but it won’t be happening.

that is completely bizzare! why even start a first season if your going to end it with nothing but loose ends! tie these loose ends with a second season por favor!
I just got done watching the tomorrow people on netflix, its a shame the show was canceled. I thoroughly enjoyed watching the show and finished the entire series in just 2 days. I also think that the way the series ended left a few loose ends that should be tied up, and lefg grounds for an even better second season.
I honestly wish I would have watched this show when it was on. I just love it! one of the better programs I have seen in the last few years. I binged watched it on Netflix and now I am seriously depressed that once I see the last episode it will be over and leave me wanting it to come back with more only it never will! There is very few shows on T.V. these days that are even worth the time!
Im truly dissapointed in the fact that “The Tomorrow People” will not continue. This show has definitley been a favorite of mine and I hate to not be able to watch it anymore. I highly doubt I will continue watching anything from the CW anymore. Neither will my family due to me reccomending this show to them, now that it is gone what is the point? Continue this show please. It WILL benefit you.
This is bogus I got all worked up an now I find out its cancelled that is completely stupid I hate it when you kind of people just cancel TV shows I loved that show!!! I ask please make another one or maybe make a dig movie to summarize the reset!

This is a true injustice, the tomorrow people was in my opinion a wonderful show. Though granite the actor’s did give at times a less then brilliant preformance the over all story was good. I do hope you they will reconsider the cancellation of season 2 and instead work on developing the characters to the best of there capabilities.
First, I just got through watching the whole season on Netflix, and it was probably one of the best tv show out, a least it was one of my favorite, I believe that it should be viewed different far as on a different date and time, but it’s too good not to bring back it is too good!! My heart hurts. Bring us a season 2 of tomorrow people. I seriously watched the whole 1st season in a week and so disappointed there isn’t a 2nd. As a working mother, a show like this is exciting and I loved watching it during “mommy” time. Not to mention my daughter could walk in and I didn’t have to pause it. Such a winner. You should really reconsider. Boo!

The tommorow People was a great show. Very original and had a positive spin on the supernatural. This show deserves season two and should be on Friday nights. So tired of dumb zombie shows over kill. Please work on season two so we can have something intelligent to watch.

this show should not have been cancelled. now that it has been put on netflix they can get much more of a viewer basis. i didn’t know this show existed until now.
they should definitely come out with seconds season.

I enjoyed Tomorrow People, however I would have preferred to see Star Crossed renewed.
This show was fantastic. You canceling it is a huge mistake. You shouldn’t have out it on the same time as the arrow and you’d be fine. A starting show can’t compete with a three or four year old show.
