The CW is starting over on Monday nights. They’ve cancelled both Star-Crossed and The Tomorrow People after one season apiece.
On The Tomorrow People, a teenager (Robbie Amell) discovers that he has paranormal abilities. He also learns that others like him have gone into hiding because they’re being hunted by a paramilitary group of scientists known as Ultra. The rest of the cast includes Luke Mitchell, Peyton List, Aaron Yoo, Mark Pellegrino, and Madeleine Mantock.
The drama debuted back in October and aired on Wednesday nights, paired with the network’s popular Arrow series. It performed well in the beginning but the ratings fell over the course of the season, dropping as low as a 0.4 rating in the 18-49 demographic and 1.24 million viewers.
The series moved to Monday nights and lost even more viewers. In last April, The Tomorrow People hit a series low, drawing just 760,000 viewers.
The season (now series) finale, which aired this week, left plenty of story opportunities for a second season but it won’t be happening.

Season 2 season 2. Clearly the critics don’t know a good show when they s it. They wouldn’t even c it if it was a show the were starting in.
I believe the show had a lot to offer and that the cancel was premature. Characters were very well developed, as was the plot line. I am very disappointed that I’ll never know what would have happened in the story line.
They should not have cancled I don’t know why they keep doing that it was the same 28th witches of the east canceled after only 2 seasons.
I honestly think that the tomorrow people should’ve not been cancelled, because many people( including myself)found the show interesting ‘& amusing. If only they can do season 2, but better than the first season and it would probably bring more viewers.
The Tomorrow People is the best seriál ever, I just finished and I love it… I love John and I want season 2…

I just finished season 1 on Netflix and agree that it’s a great show.Hopefuuly they come out with a season 2, even if it’s only on Netflix.I really want to know what happens, to everyone.
Yes, my husband and I enjoy the show greatly. We are both past 50 and we think it should come back for a second season.
This show blows away so many other shows out right now it’s like watching a great movie . This show needs to come back for season 2.
