The CW is starting over on Monday nights. They’ve cancelled both Star-Crossed and The Tomorrow People after one season apiece.
On The Tomorrow People, a teenager (Robbie Amell) discovers that he has paranormal abilities. He also learns that others like him have gone into hiding because they’re being hunted by a paramilitary group of scientists known as Ultra. The rest of the cast includes Luke Mitchell, Peyton List, Aaron Yoo, Mark Pellegrino, and Madeleine Mantock.
The drama debuted back in October and aired on Wednesday nights, paired with the network’s popular Arrow series. It performed well in the beginning but the ratings fell over the course of the season, dropping as low as a 0.4 rating in the 18-49 demographic and 1.24 million viewers.
The series moved to Monday nights and lost even more viewers. In last April, The Tomorrow People hit a series low, drawing just 760,000 viewers.
The season (now series) finale, which aired this week, left plenty of story opportunities for a second season but it won’t be happening.

I think it was a great show and deserved another season, standing alone it was the best show on the CW, when compared to other shows such as The 100, arrow, reign, etc. it was even better. Now the best thing on channel 2 is down to Two and a half men re-runs of the Charlie Sheen years.
The tomorrow people was an adults version of a children show made originally in the 1970s. I know living here in the united kingdom. The original series was made here in great Britain. It was a kids show but with adult themes. Another version was made here in the UK. Whi CH departed further from the first British incarnation that was made about the 1990s. I fell in love with the show cause is a great show it shows team works… This show is great and I would like to see a second season!!
Not everyone is into sitcoms and reality shows. It seems that everytime there is a good show on the air there is a reason to be cancelled while all the crappy shows remain. Very disappointed in the CW.

To bad your still going to keep Arrow though .If The Tomorrow People is canceled,Can’t see how Arrow being actually crappy is still going to stay ? CW Exs ,suck . I don’t think they should have cancelled it. It was my favourite show and i enjoyed it loads. Who cares about the ratings, they left us on a cliffhanger and now all there is, is questions
I am very upset that the tomorrow people has been cancelled. I grew up in the UK watching it. I was excited that they brought it back and updated it very well. I will now not watch anything else made by the people who cancelled this show!!!!!!!
They should have continued with the show.They keep load of crap on and repeat shows over and over.Im gutted as the show was cancelled .I just hope the tv company change there mine.Another show to the tv grave rip tomorrow people will miss you .
They need to make a season 2, people really liked the last 2 episodes, if they make the next season with the same quality the ratings would flood in
