TV show description:
This dramatic series revolves around a generation of humans who have been born with paranormal abilities.
Up until a year ago, Stephen Jameson (Robbie Amell) was a regular teenager but one day, he began hearing voices and teleporting in his sleep. He never knew where he might wake up. Now, Stephen’s issues have gone far beyond the usual teenage angst, and he’s beginning to question his sanity.
Out of desperation, Stephen decides to listen to one of the voices in his head, and it leads him to his first encounter with John (Luke Mitchell), Cara (Peyton List), and Russell (Aaron Yoo) — the Tomorrow People. They’re a genetically advanced race with the abilities of telekinesis, teleportation and telepathic communication.
The Tomorrow People are being hunted down by a paramilitary group of scientists known as Ultra. Led by Dr. Jedikiah Price (Mark Pellegrino), Ultra sees the Tomorrow People as a very real existential threat from a rival species, and the outcast group has been forced to secretly live in an abandoned subway station just beneath the surface.
Trading in secrets, Jedikiah offers Stephen the chance for a normal life with his family and best friend, Astrid (Madeleine Mantock), but only if he will help in the struggle to isolate and eradicate the Tomorrow People.
On the other hand, Cara, John and Russell offer Stephen a different type of family and a home where he truly belongs.
Unwilling to turn his back on humanity or the world of the Tomorrow People, Stephen sets out on his own path — a journey that may take him into the shadowy past to uncover the truth about his father’s mysterious disappearance.
Episode #22 — “Son of Man”
Russell realizes his alliance with The Founder (guest star Simon Merrells) was a mistake, and tries to make up for his decision by saving Cara from an Ultra ambush. Stephen understands that he must be the one to stop The Machine and the extermination of humanity, but he fears he may be too late. Russell offers up a plan to help Stephen, but he is going to need everyone’s help, including John and Astrid, if they are going to have any chance to survive. Meanwhile, Jedikiah offers John an interesting opportunity that could have them working together again.
First aired: May 5, 2014.
What do you think? Do you like The Tomorrow People TV series? Do you think it should have been cancelled or renewed for a second season?
Why would a great show like this get cancelled. I really don’t understand and I hope the tomorrow people get remewed. It seems like every comment I see not just this site, they all say how much they lived the show. So why cancel it!
I love the show please make season 2!
So is the show canceled or not I’m a little confused now, show status says not cancelled??? Someone explain plz???

Pls for the fans you got to renew it .I really loved n I want to hear a good news soon you will have the The Tomorrow People season 2. If you really cancel it pls pls pls do kindly direct a new TV serial with STEPHEN N CARA PLS .
Can you renew the series, The Tomorrow People is a great show. Hooked on in seconds. Really Enjoyed it.
I cannot believe TNT is cancelling Dallas! What is wrong with these idiot? It was a genius idea to bring back the very popular series from the 70’s and do it with all of the great backstabbing the show was famous for. I do hope TNT will reconsider and bring it back!! Don’t leave all of its many fans hanging as to what will happen next. Try to wake up and realize Dallas is an awesome jewel of a show that should continue on for awhile!!
This is a page for The Tomorrow People not Dallas. You should write that comment on on the Dallas page
A real shame to cancel one of the best new series on T.V.
I am so pleased to know there are others, like myself who enjoyed the Tomorrow People.
I do hope that the CW network decides to renew the show for another season. After all, there are really great programs on the CW network, and this one should be back on ASAP!!!
Don’t get to watch TV as much but I came across this show on Netflix and I was hooked. It’s a damn good show. I’m disappointed it got canceled. Hope a season 2 is made. TV ratings give shows a bad rap. Like “Firefly”, a show cut too short. At least have it on Netflix or DVDs
Please give TTP Another Chance it’s a Great Show
I have just learned about this show and have been watching season one on Netflix. I just found out there is no season two?!?! What a shame and am truly disappointed. This is a good series.
I think this an amazing show and should be continued!!!!!
It is a good show and definitely should be renewed. There are a lot of terrible shows on every network. Look at the aMindy Project for instance.
Keep the show on! It is one of the better programs on the CW.
I believe this show should be renewed. It was one of the better programs on the CW network. I hope the powers that be, decide to keep it going. Many of other programs on CW have had great success! Lets hope the Tomorrow People can be given another season.
renew the show!! jostrid is the best thing that ever happen!!!!
