Though the cast and crew of The Whole Truth will get to finish filming their 13 episode commitment, there’s no guarantee viewers will get to see them any time soon. Earlier this week, it was revealed that the show had been cancelled by ABC. Now, it looks like the network is pulling the legal drama from the schedule for the whole month of November.
As previously announced, next week’s episode will be preempted by the interview special In the Spotlight With Robin Roberts: All Access Nashville. The following week, the entire Wednesday night line-up is bumped for the Country Music Awards.
After that, Whole Truth is being replaced by a pair of celebrity specials. On November 17th, ABC will air 25 Years of Sexy: People Magazine’s Sexiest Man Alive!. The following week, Primetime: Celebrity Plastic Surgery Gone Too Far? will take the timeslot.
It’s unknown if The Whole Truth will return in December or if ABC will keep the remaining nine episodes sitting on the shelf.
What do you think? Will ABC air the rest of the The Whole Truth episodes soon, over the summer, or never?

Liked the show….hope they show the rest of the series!
My favorite show WAS The Whole Truth
I love the show me and my mom would sit down and watch it every Wednesday I really hope that they don’t cancel it…. It feels good to watch something else besides reality tv all the time…. No one cares what celebrities are doing…. I really want to see where the relationship goes with the two lawyers at least finish this season
This was my favorite new show, you need to bring it back. Cast was great and the story lines were great too. Whoever made the dicision to cancel this show needs to be fired as he/she is clearly lacking the ability to know a good show when it comes along.
I am disappointed and sad that The Whole Truth has been canceled. The show was excellent I think: interesting, thought-provoking , well acted and produced. I looked forward to watching it and had a “Season Pass” on Tivo. I anticipated the season would be longer than three episodes. I have been a Rob Morrow fan since Northern Exposure, and watched every episode of Numbers. He has given excellent performances in a wide range of parts (including movies). How sad this quality show is given only three weeks to get high enough ratings. I hope The Whole Truth will be brought… Read more »
Well, another one bites the dust. We probably won’t invest any more of our time with new shows on ABC. Just when we get involved it gets yanked. ABC continues to demonstrate they cannot commit to even finishing a season. Perhaps it would be helpful for them to realize TV viewing has changed. We often record a show and watch it later. Just because the ratings during a certain time slot aren’t what you want doesn’t mean nobody is watching the show. HELLO! The replacement choices are a further insult to the viewing public.
This is extremely disappointing. This show is great. What are you thinking? I am beginning to think that the networks think nothing but reality tv is what should be on. I would love to know the reasons a network cancels a good show. I agree—-BRING IT BACK!!!!!!!
I am disappointed with ABC’s decision. I have a difficult time finding a series that I look forward and really enjoy watching weekly. This is one that I have enjoyed, look forward to each week and will really miss. I wish ABC would reconsider.
Love Rob Morrow. Nice twisty plots. Wednesday night was blah. What’s with this network? Keep TWT
Rethink this ABC. The plots are good. The character interactions good. This drama could hold its own in primetime lineup. The celebrity specials for Nov. could go away.
I really hope another network sees the merits of TWT. It’s entertaining and educational; the flawed characters are believable, the writing is excellent. I’m learning how evidence may not be admissible and how defendants benefit by hiring the most talented lawyers. This cancellation tells me ABC management doesn’t recognize quality.
Very disappointing to hear! It was refreshing to have a new Law drama. The chemistry between the characters were great and I liked how they had a major unpredictable twist at the end. Always left you wondering….BRING IT BACK!
I love this show. Why can’t they ever ASK THE VIEWERS if a show is ggod before they pull it?
I can’t believe they canceled this show. Every week I look forward to Wednesday nights because of the the Whole Truth. I agree with Renee, I like how they show if the person is guilty or not. I hope ABC changes their mind about canceling the show.I think they did not give enough time to take off. I don’t care about celebrities or the country Music Awards. There is enough of that on tv already.
WHAT A SHAME
ITS A ” GREAT ” SHOW
100% BETTER THEN MUST TRASH ON T.V. TODAY
THE ENTIRE FAMILY LOOKED FORWARD TO THIS EXCEPTIONAL SHOW
PUT IT BACK ON!
I can’t believe they keep on all those stupid reality shows and take off the good law shows.. I really like this show…
