Though the cast and crew of The Whole Truth will get to finish filming their 13 episode commitment, there’s no guarantee viewers will get to see them any time soon. Earlier this week, it was revealed that the show had been cancelled by ABC. Now, it looks like the network is pulling the legal drama from the schedule for the whole month of November.
As previously announced, next week’s episode will be preempted by the interview special In the Spotlight With Robin Roberts: All Access Nashville. The following week, the entire Wednesday night line-up is bumped for the Country Music Awards.
After that, Whole Truth is being replaced by a pair of celebrity specials. On November 17th, ABC will air 25 Years of Sexy: People Magazine’s Sexiest Man Alive!. The following week, Primetime: Celebrity Plastic Surgery Gone Too Far? will take the timeslot.
It’s unknown if The Whole Truth will return in December or if ABC will keep the remaining nine episodes sitting on the shelf.
What do you think? Will ABC air the rest of the The Whole Truth episodes soon, over the summer, or never?

Stupid just when you get a good show with good actors you cancel it. HOW dumb to put on the shows that viewers hate instead of the main one. THe characters in this show were good at what they did and YOU get rid or it. Seems abc has fallen to the way side big time. Only good show is Castle and this one. Other than that, dumb just dumb. Just like ABC and keep it up and your ratings will continue to be in last place…
BRING IT BACK! Probably over 50% of viewers DVR to then watch the show LATER. At least give the show a whole freaking season! Absolutely ridiculous! 5 episodes is not enough to know if it will do well! SO DUMB ABC —- Sooooo DUMB!
very dissapointed! This is a great show and my family and I love casting our vote to see if we are right. I hope the jury is still out on this one and they re-think their verdict.
EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED! I thought The Whole Truth was GREAT! Especially the unique outlooks – from both sides. And the ending when you find out who really was guilty. ABC is STUPID to cancel this show!
I am so bummed. Can’t imagine why they cancel the good shows. There is so little to watch these days with the boring reality kick. Bring it back!!
I looked forward to The Whole Truth. I have been in Litigation for 20 years. The Whole Truth is a lot of fun. Rob Morrow is greatas the defense attorney, that is exactly how you have to be, but a spin on a negative situation. I enjoyed the batter between the prosecuter and the defense. The ending where they show if the person’s verdict is justified is great. Bring it back, it was the only thing good about Wednesdays!!
ABC is brutal for doing this… gives a great new show only 4 or 5 episodes to pick up a following and then pulls it. I thought this premise was a very refreshing new spin on the court room drama.. LOVED the final moments that revealed the real story. brilliant. I’m already missing it.
I really liked this show- why can’t they just finish the first season. Instead it’s being replaced with crap.
what a bummer. great show
I LOVE this show! The characters are amazing & I love learning whether the jury was right. Really hope ABC shows the whole season & that another network picks it up.
This was the one new show I REALLY enjoyed. Such a great concept and I have never seen the Crime/Court/Drama done in this fashion (viewed from both procesute and denfense side.) I enjoyed envery episode aired so far. Too bad
We enjoy the Whole Truth!! Do not end it!!!
BRING BACK THE WHOLE TRUTH! It was my new favorite show, one of the only shows my husband and I watch together, and I am so upset that it’s been canceled!!!
Please reconsider!!
We looked forward to this show every Wednesday. The cast has great chemistry and the stories were entertaining. The last scene is always what we look forward to, as it is THE WHOLE TRUTH! Please bring it back!!!
I love this show!! They always cancell shows that I love!! dang it! It reminds me of the show Justice that came out a few years ago….starring the same actor, Eamonn Walker! I have a lot of shows that I like that come on sometimes same day and time so I’ll watch online or via on demand.
great show , but they always cancel anything that someone might want to see.
They will probably cancel as corps. want immediate results – this show grows on you – they should give it time to develop – better than most of the things out there.
