Though the cast and crew of The Whole Truth will get to finish filming their 13 episode commitment, there’s no guarantee viewers will get to see them any time soon. Earlier this week, it was revealed that the show had been cancelled by ABC. Now, it looks like the network is pulling the legal drama from the schedule for the whole month of November.
As previously announced, next week’s episode will be preempted by the interview special In the Spotlight With Robin Roberts: All Access Nashville. The following week, the entire Wednesday night line-up is bumped for the Country Music Awards.
After that, Whole Truth is being replaced by a pair of celebrity specials. On November 17th, ABC will air 25 Years of Sexy: People Magazine’s Sexiest Man Alive!. The following week, Primetime: Celebrity Plastic Surgery Gone Too Far? will take the timeslot.
It’s unknown if The Whole Truth will return in December or if ABC will keep the remaining nine episodes sitting on the shelf.
What do you think? Will ABC air the rest of the The Whole Truth episodes soon, over the summer, or never?

I really liked this show. One of the few things other than sports that I watched on a regular basis and made a point to DVR it in case I was not home in time to watch it when it aired. Intellegent writing, witty dialogue, interesting plots, good chemistry between the main characters — it will probably be replaced with yet another silly reality show.
We love this program…. Maura Tierney and Rob Morrow and the whole cast of intriguing personalities. We watch little t.v., but “The Whole Truth” had become our regular Wednesday night at 10 p.m. pleasure. Say it ain’t so, ABC!
I find that there is less and less to watch these days. I was very happy with shows like, “The Forgotten,” and “The Whole Truth.” I liked finding out if the suspect was really guilty or not at the end of, “The Whole Truth.” So sad to see these shows go. I am not interested in learning more about People Magzine’s, Sexiest Man Alive, or Celebrity Plastic Surgeries.
i love this show!!!! please don’t cancel!!!! i loved how it showed in end if you were actually right or wrong!!
Great! Another excellent show cancelled by idiots…have you ever thought that maybe it just needed a chance! Just replace it with crappy reality tv or interviews with the elite hollywood …yes I want to stay up for that! Ridculous! count me out and get a clue! I think you need to take another look… and if not, I’ll just turn off the tv.
I liked, “The Forgotten” and, “The Whole Truth.” Very dispointed these shows have been cancelled. It is very hard to find any good shows anymore. I do not like all of the reality shows. I am not interested in watching any of the shows ABC is planning to air this month in place of, “The Whole Truth.”
What does one have to do to keep this show on ABC? It was a very good show.
Best Show I’ve watched in ages..DVR’ed all 6 episodes watched them back to back only to see that its been cancelled..What a disappointment… Just another reason I hardly watch anything on ABC
This was the best new show of the season. Bring it back !!
liked the show oh well ill watch defenders.
Good show, good writing, great acting, poor choice for ABC to cancel. There are too many comedy sit-coms with little or no plot. Maybe a cable station should pick it up and renew it for another season!!
Why are all the great shows cancelled ? To bad the networks don’t listen to their viewers!
ABC stands for “Already Been Cancelled” in our house. This was a great show and about the only reason I even watched a network program.
This show should not be cancelled. It’s an intelligent show with terrific actors and a good story line/idea. Consider perhaps giving it another day or time slot. Sincerely Arline Parkes
I can’t believe it. I thought this show was refreshingly new, good storyline and great cast. With so much trash on TV I can’t understand why a show with this appeal would be canceled.
