TNT has had both great successes and big disappointments when it comes to their original scripted shows. Which of the current crop will be cancelled or renewed for another season? Stay tuned!
Scripted TNT shows listed: Agent X, The Alienist, Animal Kingdom, Claws, Dallas, Falling Skies, Franklin & Bash, Good Behavior, I Am the Night, The Last Ship, The Lazarus Project, Legends, The Librarians, Major Crimes, Murder in the First, Perception, Proof, Public Morals, Rizzoli & Isles, Snowpiercer, Transporter: The Series, and Will.
Last updated: Most recent ratings added for The Lazarus Project.
There’s lots of data that TNT execs look at when deciding whether to renew or cancel a TV series but ratings are the major ingredient. Here’s an updated listing of all of their recent/current primetime scripted shows.
Note: If you’re not seeing the updated charts, please try reloading the page. You can also view them here and here.
A couple of notes about these charts:
These figures are updated automatically as new ratings are released (usually a day or so after the broadcasts). The averages are based on the final national numbers (live plus same day viewing). For technical reasons, I have to resort them manually so feel free to let me know if I missed something.
The demo numbers, which are typically most important to the broadcast networks, aren’t quite as vital to cable channels because their audiences are usually much smaller. Demo numbers are typically reported using the 10ths decimal place (2.4, for example). In the averages, I’m using an extra decimal for easier ranking.
What do you think? Are you surprised by any of the ratings? Which shows should be doing better? Which one do you think will be cancelled next?
I am really going to miss Rizzoli and Isles..It is one of the best shows TNT has ever produced.
It is sad that you cancel the best ones…please reconsider.
I think it is a terrible thing that TNT 7 KEVIN jAMES CANCELLED Rizzoli & Isles, The show has a fine ensemble of actors and this show will be missed, I THINK THE network should reconsider.
I think it is terrible that TNT cancelled such a fine show like Rizzoli & Isles. The show had a fabulous ensemble of actors…Shame on you TNT…& Kevin James…
It is a shame that Rizzoli & Isles was not renewed. It is quality television. Also some of the other programs that were also quality viewing. The other programs on TNT are garbage.
I’m amazed that Rusty is still such a major component of Major Crimes. He was annoying from the very beginning. The way he I served himself in the middle of actual cases. And then the whole department has to focus their efforts on keeping him safe. I switch channels as soon as he opens his mouth.
#SaveDallas TNT stands for Trash Network Television #SaveDallas
From my perspective, you may as well cancel Murder in the First. The writers have made this a soap opera. You now have a dirty DA, a dirty ADA and a dirty lawyer. That pretty much says it all for the so called criminal justice system. Too bad. It was a great show.
Re do rizzoli and isles as u did major crimes when star left. Great show, will miss it.
drop the rayder character from major crimes and gain a few million more viewers …..bring back all the ones you have alienated ……
Cpt raydor one of the best characters.
BRING BACK “THE TRANSPORTER”
TNT had 4 really good shows..Major Crimes, Perception, Rizolli and Isles, and Murder in the First. Two down, two to go…
I really like Major Crimes – Please Please don’t drop
Major Crimes

TNT can **** off. #SaveDallas
Well with the ratings for the last episode it’s not very good. Too many actors have been changed and replaced by minorities. This alone shows the direction the show is going in the reason why they’re doing it is to be politically correct. I have nothing against the type of changes but the quality of the actors really really stink. Please please stop changing the rules based upon the color of the skin of the actors! Because the show was slowly sinking into the sea. I love the show this season three has been a total nightmare. Don’t be surprised… Read more »
After a slow start, Last Ship has really picked up. Glad they renewed S4. A perfect show for summer viewing.
