It looks like it’s the end of the line for courier Frank Martin. Transporter: The Series, which aired for two seasons on TNT, has been cancelled and won’t be returning for a third season.
Based on the feature film series, Transporter is an action-adventure TV show which follows Frank Martin (Chris Vance) — a professional “transporter.” He’s paid to pick up and deliver people or cargo from anywhere in the world. The rest of the cast has included François Berléand, Violante Placido, Andrea Osvárt, Charly Hübner, and Delphine Chanéac.
An international series, Transporter aired for two seasons and 24 episodes between October 2014 and February 2015. Airing on Saturday nights, the action series did poorly on TNT in its first season and the numbers were lower in season two.
There’s been no word on the show’s fate in nearly a year. In a recent interview, executive producer Frank Spotnitz said, “I don’t think it’s going to come back, sadly… It did really well in Canada, but I think in France it was shown immediately after the Charlie Hebdo shootings — I don’t think anybody was watching drama, so it was bad timing unfortunately.”
Though he’s been busy with new projects like The Man in the High Castle, Spotnitz love for the series to return someday, saying, “Everything, I do, I have to love it — I can’t fake it! So yeah, I would.”

it was a very good series. loved it very much. But i didnt like the way things ended in season 2. i hope you continue this series.if your are not able to renew it for a third season at least finish the second season properly. im a sri lankan and i hope people from others countries think the ssame
I have only seen the first series and loved in (I live in South Africa and our TV programming is not up to much). I have been desperately waiting for the second series, and hopefully will be able to buy both on DVD. I wish they could make the third series, and if not shown on TV, send directly to DVD. I’m sure the show must have many fans. And Chris Vance is HOT HOT. Here’s hoping.
I really enjoyed the show. It was full of action and we’ll done. I am sad that it hasn’t been renewed. My sister also enjoyed. I discovered the show by accident. Maybe it needed more publicity to let people know it was on.

I really enjoyed this series and am disappointed that it is cancelled. It seems that any tv program that i enjoy and is GOOD is cancelled….. sigh Please please please reconsider and bring back this show. A lot of love went into this series………

Please bring transporter back! You cannot leave us hanging with that ending. It is an excellent show. Like a mini movie every week!

Just like all the other comments on here i do wish to see it come back and continue from season 2 to season 3! I wonder how many people it would take to show the owners of this show how great this series really is because if it was good enough then people would go on with their lives doing other stuff instead of taking their time to post a comment on how their disappointed they are of how there is no season 3. I was completely hooked, then when l got Roku and Netflix there it was again. OH JOY! No season 3? What is this? How can you leave us hanging this way? One of the best shows on TV by far. What a shame.
Loved this series THE TRANSPORTER …. it takes at least 3 years for any good business to take hold and any good series show should be considered in the same way. Obviously it has a bit of a cult following with 100% positive feed back in these comments already and given the chance this could turn into a series with serious longevity. BRING IT BACK !!!
