Last year, ABC Family introduced three new dramas — Twisted, Ravenswood, and The Fosters. Ravenswood (a Pretty Little Liars spin-off) has been cancelled while The Fosters has been renewed. What will become of Twisted?
Airing on Tuesday nights, Twisted is a mystery/thriller series that revolves around 17 year old Danny Desai (Avan Jogia). Six years ago, he was charged with killing his aunt and he ended up spending five years in juvenile detention. Now, he’s been released and has returned to his small hometown in New York. As he tries to resume his life, a classmate is killed and Danny becomes a key suspect. The cast also includes Madelaine Hasson, Kylie Bunbury, Ashton Moio, Kimberly Quinn, Denise Richards, and Sam Robards.
The pilot episode aired as a special preview in March 2013 and drew 1.19 million viewers. It wasn’t a great start but the ratings picked up when the regular season started in June. They quickly fell again but ABC Family ordered 10 additional episodes of Twisted anyway. That decision may have been influenced by the fact that they had recently cancelled Bunheads and The Lying Game.
When the second half of the season kicked off in February and viewership nearly hit a new low, despite the fact that it had popular Pretty Little Liars as a lead-in. Last week, when Twisted no longer had that strong lead-in, viewership hit an all-time low with just 726,000 viewers.
The second half of the season averaged 1.11 million viewers. Ravenswood was cancelled with higher viewership. Based on these numbers, it’s looking unlikely that ABC Family will order a second season of Twisted.

Has TWISTED been renewed?? PLEASE tell me it has been!! I LOVE this show! There isn’t much to watch these days that isn’t about Ghosts, Pawn shops or brokers or Reality shows!
I really like watching Family soap type shows. Not much else to watch other than reruns of old shows. Every time I like a show it gets cancelled. Who are the tv stations asking what they want to watch on tv. It certainly isn’t some one like me………

Of course it should be renewed! Seriously, I got so hooked on The Lying Game and then it ended up being cancelled and I was really upset. Now I am extremely into Twisted and I pre-record the episodes and finally had time to watch the finale; it was awesome!! I really need there to be another season! And if one more season is all they can afford to do then at least don’t leave it off with a cliff hanger! Please request another season ABC Family, it will be greatly appreciated!

I just started watching the show twisted and right away I loved the show. I’ve have spent the last days watching all the episodes on netflix. please don’t end the show there are a lot of people out there who love the show and need to now what happens. I think they should defiantly renewe the show! Thank you!

please bring Twisted back. I watched it from beginning to end . Plus, Danny is so cute and
a good actor and need to know what his next move. It is time for it to return.
Twisted should be renewed!!! It seams like everytime I get interested in a show they cancel it 🙁 the lying game and ravenswood should be renewed too!!! Also almost everytime I watch these shows, its previously recorded because im not always home and sometimes I have shows that both have new episodes on the same night and time. And plus I dont like commercials! Please dont cancel just because you think no one is watching, trust me more people watch than you think!
