Written by Gregor Sharp and Simon Carlyle, Two Doors Down is a BBC Comedy in-house production through BBC Scotland, recommissioned by Shane Allen, Controller, Comedy Commissioning for another 6×30 series.
Filming is set to get underway in Scotland from mid-August for six weeks and will, once again, film on location in Glasgow and at BBC Scotland’s Dumbarton Studios – home to Scottish soap River City and BBC One drama Rillington Place.
Shane Allen says: “The first series has been so well received, and we’re proud to welcome this gem back again. It’s beautifully written with the cream of Scottish comedy talent on board, and audiences across the UK have taken it to their hearts.”
