In March, we reported that Cartoon Network had renewed Uncle Grandpa through season five. Now, Cartoon Brew is saying the animated series is ending production.
Created by Peter Browngardt, the surreal show follows the adventures of a man on a quest to help those around him. Adam DeVine, Mark Hamill, and Eric Bauza all provide voices.
According to Cartoon Brew, Uncle Grandpa will run through season five. However, those seasons will be split into 26 episodes each, half the number of first season’s 52 episodes.
In the meantime, production is said to be ending at the end of the current season, meaning season five may be the last one for Uncle Grandpa.
Cartoon Network has yet to confirm the news. Season two of Uncle Grandpa is currently airing.
What do you think? Do you watch Uncle Grandpa? Do you think it should continue past season five?
