Compared to Unforgettable’s series debut a year earlier, CBS was down by 14% in the demo (vs a 2.9 rating) and down by 4% in viewers (vs 14.09 million). While the viewership is very impressive, the demo is less so and CBS has cancelled many series for low demo numbers.
Note: These ratings are collected by the Nielsen company and are the final national numbers. These are different from the fast affiliate numbers which are just estimates of the actual ratings and are reported on by most other outlets. The final nationals are typically released within 24 hours of the programming or, in the case of weekends and holidays, a couple days later.
What do you think? Do you like the Vegas TV series? Do you think it should be cancelled or renewed for a second season?
Vegas is a quality show. To cancel it is a travesty. CBS didn’t give it a chance with their moving it around. I guess CBS wants to go the way of NBC and ABC and save money with so called Reality Shows, that are about as real as the Easter Bunny. If CBS does this I hope another network has enough sense to pick it up for next season. Evidently CBS doesn’t have the sense to realize there is a sizeable audience out there for this show.
If CBS cancels this show, since Dennis quaid produced it, I think Dennis Quaid should sue!
CBS never gave this show a chance … There was never a consistant schedule
For this program week on week off some times two weeks off
Then it’s supposed to be on Friday they show it Saturday instead
Crazy
I think this show is fun; love the retro and it has a lot more substance than so many shows. It’s one of the best new shows of the year and I believe it will build up a following. I will be so disappointed if you drop it from your list. You have a great line up of shows but if you really have to drop one, I wouldn’t miss The Good Wife, it’s similar to so many other shows in the past and so predictable that I have quit watching it. Sorry.
I live in Henderson NV and “Vegas” is one of the best shows I’ve ever seen about Las Vegas. It’s well written, fantastic actors and has a little of everything serious, action and even funny sometimes. Please don’t put another reality show on, there’s already too many of them. If CBS cancels this show I hope another net work picks it up they will for sure have already made fans.
Vegas is well written, well acted and beautifully photographed. I hope someone at CBS has the smarts to renew it for a second season.
Please, no more forensic shows or talent contests!
And a word of advice to CBS: Remember M*A*S*H* had LOUSY ratings for the first couple of years, and it went out on top of the heap.
I absolutely love the show. I have had too many of my favorites only last a season or 2 not because they were bad, but the networks seem to want to cash in on “reality” shows. Trust me.. when a new “reality” show comes on.. they’ve lost me.
I like Vegas and hope it isn’t cancelled. Great acting.
I love this show. Please renew it! Well written! Great cast!
Love Vegas. One of a very very few shows with intelligent script, plot, good acting – not just running around, trivial unrelated conversation, staring at bloody bodies, or microscopes, etc.,etc.,etc.
If CBS doesn’t renew, then hope Netflix has the good sense to pick it up. They will have ready made fans to sign up.
I love Vegas! It has a great cast. Please give it a second season.
be very sorry to see a good show such as Vegas go off if cancelled. – keeps u interested from beginning to end, many different angles, twists & turns. Makes for a great hr. of watching & guessing what’s going to happen next. That’s what a “great show”is all about isn’t it??? Keeping & holding the viewers interest from beginning until end?? – this does…. finally a show that is quite different from so many others out there in TV land today. SO MANY NOW are the same old things, are same format, same style, over & over… It is… Read more »
My husband and I love this show. I don’t care what night you pick, we will watch it. Very cool to watch a show that is based on real life personalities from the sixties–seventies time period. Vegas employs talented actors whom continue to expand and improve in their characterizations; humorous, enriching, or eye-opening extras that add flavor to each character; great story lines. It is very pleasant to have something completely different–especially when you realize some of these episodes are very likely close to what actually transpired with the mobster families in Vegas as its roots spread through the desert.… Read more »
I think this show is great!! I really hope they DO NOT cancel the show, regardless of the ratings. It seems to have been doing better on tuesday nights but either way my dad and I always watch the show when it comes on, and usually I don’t like shows that my dad likes. I really hope they give the show a chance and a little more time and renew for another season!!!
LOVE THE SHOW!!! This is one of 3 cannot miss for every week! DO NOT CANCEL!!!!
