Sex, drugs, and rock ‘n’ roll are coming to HBO. This week, the network released a new preview for their upcoming period music drama, Vinyl.
Directed by Martin Scorsese, the series features an all-star cast that includes: Bobby Cannavale, Olivia Wilde, Ray Romano, and Juno Temple.
The series comes from Terence Winter, the creator of Boardwalk Empire. The 10-episode first season will follow Cannavale as record executive Richie Finestra. Along with his wife (Wilde) and colleague (Romano), Vinyl will explore the birth of punk, hip hop, and other musical genres in the debauched world of 1970s New York City.
Along with Winter and Scorsese, Mick Jagger will serve as an executive producer. His son, James Jagger, will play the lead singer of a punk band in the series.
Vinyl premieres on February 14th, 2016.
