Lori Loughlin
Things are not going well for Lori Loughlin. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Hallmark has severed all ties with the When Calls the Heart co-star following her arrest.
Earlier this week, Loughlin was arrested by the FBI after being accused of participating in a nation-wide college admissions scheme. The Full House star has been a cast member of Hallmark’s hit series When Calls the Heart since its debut in 2014. Additionally, she stars in the network’s film series Garage Sale Mysteries.
Hallmark Channel released a public statement announcing their separation with Loughlin. The network doesn’t specify if they’ll continue to air the current season of When Calls the Heart but it seems likely that they will. If Heart is renewed for a seventh season, it appears that Loughlin’s Abigail Stanton character will not be a part of it.
Here’s the statement:
We are saddened by the recent news surrounding the college admissions allegations. We are no longer working with Lori Loughlin and have stopped development of all productions that air on the Crown Media Family Network channels involving Lori Loughlin including Garage Sale Mysteries, an independent third party production.”
Update: A Hallmark spokesperson tells us that When Calls the Heart has been pulled from the March 17th schedule. Will future episodes air? “We are evaluating all creative options related to When Calls the Heart series.”

I agree With you Frank, we all make bad choices and she will have to pay the price through the courts, she should not lose her job as a result. They haven’t even had a verdict yet and so many are condemning her. So much for people saying they’re fans.It’s just a sad turn of events and hope people come around.
Please don’t pull When Calls the Heart! It is a fabulous show! Why should everyone else suffer the consequences over someone else’s wrong-doing?! We’re all grown ups here and can separate the difference between make-believe and real life. The show is strong enough to weather the storm…as are the fans.
Please keep When Calls the Heart. It is a good enough show that it will survive without Lori Loughlin.
I think that the bribery is the wrong thing to do but I also think that those who have done it have received quite the punishment through the public humiliation. True, for those of us who have the mental capability to earn a scholarship and are not provided that opportunity because those spots are taken by bribes, it becomes unfair. But, life is unfair. Please do not pull When Calls the Heart because of the mistake of one person. Please continue with Season 6 and then have the character leave for Season 7.
I am very disappointed by the news re: the school admissions issue. I REALLY WANT “WHEN CALLS THE HEART” TO CONTINUE.
Hallmark shouldn’t pull the series When Calls the Heart or Garage Sale Mysteries. If they want to cut ties with Lori Loughlin they should replace the actress with another actress, much as they do in soap operas, otherwise they will put a lot of people out of work.
Please don’t pull any episodes of When Calls the Heart!! I love each one and hate to see any of the other actors/actresses hurt by what Lori has done.
People sometimes make unwise choices, especially where their children are concerned. Just because it involved a lot of money others are making severe judgements against them. If it only involved $50, would the judgments be as significant? Would you be severing ties with her Hallmark if it were just $10? I don’t agree with cheating at all, especially as the character she plays on when calls the heart doesn’t agree with it either. I will absolutely continue to watch When Calls The Heart! If she is found guilty it is on her not the rest of the cast. Her actions are hers and her family alone, as disappointing as those actions are.

I am very saddened about the recent news about Lori Loughlin. I think Hallmark cutting all ties with her is the right thing to do. I will continue to watch When calls the heart because it’s a wonderful show and there are so many more actors that make up the show. They deserve to keep working on the show. I hope they will have a season7 and beyond. I will miss Abigail though.
I will definitely continue watching when calls the heart !!!!!!! What happened to innocent until proven guilty like everyone else says about other instances that have popped up in the news ?????

I am deeply saddened to hear of Lori’s involvement in the cheating scandal. I have so enjoyed watching her in When Calls the Heart and the Garage Sale Mysteries. I understand Hallmark cutting their ties with her, they are a family channel, but I will miss seeing her in the shows I truly loved. I am frustrated and deeply disappointed that she participated in these cheating schemes.
No longer watch WCTH, but certainly hope they can her. Cheating liars definitely don’t fit the Hallmark image.
