Lori Loughlin
Things are not going well for Lori Loughlin. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Hallmark has severed all ties with the When Calls the Heart co-star following her arrest.
Earlier this week, Loughlin was arrested by the FBI after being accused of participating in a nation-wide college admissions scheme. The Full House star has been a cast member of Hallmark’s hit series When Calls the Heart since its debut in 2014. Additionally, she stars in the network’s film series Garage Sale Mysteries.
Hallmark Channel released a public statement announcing their separation with Loughlin. The network doesn’t specify if they’ll continue to air the current season of When Calls the Heart but it seems likely that they will. If Heart is renewed for a seventh season, it appears that Loughlin’s Abigail Stanton character will not be a part of it.
Here’s the statement:
We are saddened by the recent news surrounding the college admissions allegations. We are no longer working with Lori Loughlin and have stopped development of all productions that air on the Crown Media Family Network channels involving Lori Loughlin including Garage Sale Mysteries, an independent third party production.”
Update: A Hallmark spokesperson tells us that When Calls the Heart has been pulled from the March 17th schedule. Will future episodes air? “We are evaluating all creative options related to When Calls the Heart series.”

Recast!! Shows are great! Unfortunately I don’t think anyone will be able to watch her without thinking about what happened. She will not be able to teach values to her tv kids when all we can think of is SHE didn’t have any.
The other actors were amazing, & given a new lead, will continue to be great! She was not the end all be all on Garage Sale Mysteries. As far as Calls the heart…easy since she wasn’t really the lead!! Carry on folks!

I love watching Garage Sale Mysteries, I can’t believe Hallmark just cancelled the show. Very disappointed that it was not kept on with another actress.
Instead of cancelling Garage Sale Mysteries which I think is a big mistake. That’s a great mystery show and wonderful characters, especially Sarah Strange’s Dani. Why not put another actress in Lori’s role. One who would be good is Nikki DeLoach. Why put all of the other actors out of work? And it’s such a terrific series with superb acting, such interesting storylines. Please consider recasting Lori’s role; Nikki DeLoach has some similar characteristics to Lori and is a natural, believable actress.
Keep “When Calls the Heart” …. love it!
I don’t think it is necessary to stop a series because of the actions of one. why should all of the others be shunned? They were already filmed what is the purpose of not airing those Is everyone that does something wrong going to be erased from all the history. Is that really necessary- she was not the only one in the series. Of course I don’t think anything new is appropriate
Janie Houser Garage sale mysteries is one of my favorite shows. Please don’t punish the other actors for Lori Laughlin’s mistakes. Just replace her with another actor.

Everyone already knew money buys privilege. Trump claims to have graduated universities but we know he doesn’t have a 5th graders grasp of English or History or Geography. The public forgave male actors for frequenting prostitution while married. I say stand down in these attacks on a public figure who we the public are willing to forgive. Otherwise we should also apply our moral values and laws to the White House.
I started watching Hallmark Mysteries and Murders due to the Garage Sale Mystery it made my day. I also like some of the other ones. Please put this back on with Lori it was her acting skills that made the show along with the other cast members not her PERSONAL LIFE.

I LOVE LORI in the Garage Sale Mystery…….I just can’t stand NOT seeing her. Lori and that whole cast are wonderful!!! I WANT LORI BACK…I WANT Garage Sale Mystery back!!!! PLEASE!! I also LOVE the other Hallmark Mysteries…..Sundays are my favorite day of the week because of it. Give Lori and Garage Sale Mystery a break…I am praying the courts will…..I don’t think Lori really knew she was breaking the law. I think they should recast and keep the shows going. I know we would still watch these series.
I see no problem down the road to give her a second chance at a new show or series. People make mistakes and only a fool would sit in judgement, while in their glass house.
How sad to throw everything out because of one person. “Garage Sale Mysteries” was my favorite, second only to “Where the Heart Is.” Recast (that’s what the soap operas do) It’s not rocket science.

I will miss Lori, but I will still watch when calls the heart; she did wrong, what she’s saying is, she’s above & her $$ is power to do what ever she needs to do for her inept daughters ; how sad!
