Ordinarily, While Collar would have already been renewed for another season and pre-production would be underway. Deadline reports that hasn’t happened because USA and Fox TV Studios haven’t come to an agreement yet. In fact, they supposedly haven’t really been discussing it very much at all.
Word is that season six will likely be the show’s final run but it’s unclear what form it will take. USA is favoring a short season while Fox would like a regular length final season.
The show has become more expensive but the studio is supposeldy open to taking on a larger portion of the cost and to give USA a lower license fee deal. It seems likely that a deal will be worked out but the timing is up in the air.
Unfortunately, because of the delay, the writing staff has moved on to other projects. Crewmembers have taken other jobs on pilots so many won’t be available until April. In addition, there are options on the cast until the end of April so they can’t take on roles in pilot projects until USA and Fox make up their minds on how to proceed.
One way or the other, a decision about White Collar’s future will have to be made in the next couple months.

I absolutely love this show. Please bring it back for a FULL season. It’s orginality gives it a fresh approach to the other crime shows! You can’t help but to love the entire cast!

White Collar is fun and intelligent. WHY does this series have to go?
I have been waiting for the summer for White Collar to return- Please bring it back if not for a full season at least to have an ending- not just leave things in mid air like most shows do. But would prefer another season
White collar is one of the best shows on tv along with suits. We follow it all the time . We’ve been looking for it and wondered what happened. Bring it back…some of the shows they’re putting on tv we only give them a wk or two and that’s all. Shows like White Collar and suits are just not on long enough and then they’re off for months before they return. You’re making a big mistake if you don’t bring it back.
Please have White Collar return for a full sixth (or more) season. Really good show.

Totally agree, but they couldn’t care less about our opinions. Everything is about money with them! But I’m all done with the USA network. I hope they totally fail. They’ve heard from so many fans and couldn’t care less. Screw them and any of their shows. White Collar is one of few shows on TV anymore that has it all — great cast, great storylines (rare today), humor but not the stupid slapstick kind, drama with lots of cliffhangers and, of course, that gorgeous blue-eyed eye candy. Sooo disappointed and wish there was something we could do.
Please let the reagular full episodes return. I love this show it’s the best out there. Come on. Please. …………:(…….;(
