It looks like the reign is over for The White Princess. Recently, star Jodie Comer revealed there will be no season two for the Starz TV show.
A sequel to The White Queen, the historical drama follows the stormy marriage of Elizabeth of York (Comer) to Henry Tudor (Jacob Collins-Levy) during the end of England’s War of the Roses. The cast also includes Essie Davis, Joanne Whalley, Michelle Fairley, Suki Waterhouse, Rebecca Benson, Rhys Connah, Caroline Goodall, Kenneth Cranham, and Vincent Regan.
It’s not a huge surprise that The White Princess is ending with only one season. Its predecessor, The White Queen, was limited to one season as well. However, it remains unclear if there will be a third installment in the Starz historical saga. The series are based on the historical novels of Philippa Gregory and there are several more that detail what happens after the events of The White Princess.

Yes , definitely a 2 season. Loved the show and all the characters!! Love English history.
Of course we want the story to continue. This time pick a sexy hunk to play the lead male role so we can get more viewership. Sorry to say, but that IS what makes Poldark so incredibly popular.

I have enjoyed this season of the white princess I’ve been recording it so that I can watch it when I get home late from work. I am hoping for a second season I’m fascinated by history of England.
Not surprised it was cancelled. Not one likable character in the entire show…well, maybe Maggie.

Although not always historically accurate, it nevertheless was terrific tv storytelling with great acting and high production values. Hope there will be a follow up series under whatever name they choose. Please add my vote for more!
The acting in this series has been excellent. I was spellbound with each segment. I would have enjoyed watching another season.
