It looks like the reign is over for The White Princess. Recently, star Jodie Comer revealed there will be no season two for the Starz TV show.
A sequel to The White Queen, the historical drama follows the stormy marriage of Elizabeth of York (Comer) to Henry Tudor (Jacob Collins-Levy) during the end of England’s War of the Roses. The cast also includes Essie Davis, Joanne Whalley, Michelle Fairley, Suki Waterhouse, Rebecca Benson, Rhys Connah, Caroline Goodall, Kenneth Cranham, and Vincent Regan.
It’s not a huge surprise that The White Princess is ending with only one season. Its predecessor, The White Queen, was limited to one season as well. However, it remains unclear if there will be a third installment in the Starz historical saga. The series are based on the historical novels of Philippa Gregory and there are several more that detail what happens after the events of The White Princess.

Love, Love, Loved The White Princess. I looked forward to this show because I went to my sister’s every week to watch it since the two of us loved it so much. The both of us are so sad, my husband is too. I don’t want to believe it! 🙁
I enjoyed “The White Princess” as well as “The White Queen” series. I am disappointed that both of the TV shows were cancelled after one season each.

Yes, but this historical drama series should keep moving with the next two books by Philippa Gregory.
I was so upset when the white queen only came on for only one series, then I seen that the had the white Princess, I was really happy but then it end and I’m like what’s going on, now I’m here it may not come on back at all that’s a shame!!! You writers get people hooked and then pull the rug from underneath your viewers that’s not good at all.
I enjoyed both series immensely! I would love to see more to follow!
