It looks like the reign is over for The White Princess. Recently, star Jodie Comer revealed there will be no season two for the Starz TV show.
A sequel to The White Queen, the historical drama follows the stormy marriage of Elizabeth of York (Comer) to Henry Tudor (Jacob Collins-Levy) during the end of England’s War of the Roses. The cast also includes Essie Davis, Joanne Whalley, Michelle Fairley, Suki Waterhouse, Rebecca Benson, Rhys Connah, Caroline Goodall, Kenneth Cranham, and Vincent Regan.
It’s not a huge surprise that The White Princess is ending with only one season. Its predecessor, The White Queen, was limited to one season as well. However, it remains unclear if there will be a third installment in the Starz historical saga. The series are based on the historical novels of Philippa Gregory and there are several more that detail what happens after the events of The White Princess.

The show is excellent with great actors as well. I too wonder why reality shows take up most evenings of television when shows creaMV5gted from great novel hisotical are always the best. The ages that are used as the polling figure is too young to appreciate good story lines especially historical. There are more stations out there to bring a season 2 or more to continue a show to look forward to watch. The keeping of Teddy in the tower for so many years is appalling.

Yes, this show should continue! I’m tired of good shows being canceled while “reality tv” keeps coming back.
Yes there should definitely be a second season. Steel thee rights to another carrier if Starz does nor have funds.

I loved both the White Queen and the White Princess. I still binge watch them both on demand. I am very disappointed that there will not be a second season, I hope that there will be a change of heart or some type of third installment.
I loved this series, as well as its predecessor the White Queen. I am disappointed that Starz is not renewing it or another series in this genre. I watch Outlander as well and am dismayed that Penny Dreadful came to an end, and that Black Sails surely will end soon. What does Starz have to offer? Perhaps they can do a spin off, but please do not take many years in between. The delay between White Queen and White Princess was far too long!

We need season 2, 3 and 4 for the White Princess! Excellent cast, excellent story, excellent costuming… I watched it every week and rewatched every episode during the week. So let’s get the show rolling again with the same cast! Don’t end it…..

Come on!!! I watched white queen… cancelled! I watched white princess, cancelled! Why should viewers getting invested when its cancelled after 1 season! Please bring it back!
