It looks like the reign is over for The White Princess. Recently, star Jodie Comer revealed there will be no season two for the Starz TV show.
A sequel to The White Queen, the historical drama follows the stormy marriage of Elizabeth of York (Comer) to Henry Tudor (Jacob Collins-Levy) during the end of England’s War of the Roses. The cast also includes Essie Davis, Joanne Whalley, Michelle Fairley, Suki Waterhouse, Rebecca Benson, Rhys Connah, Caroline Goodall, Kenneth Cranham, and Vincent Regan.
It’s not a huge surprise that The White Princess is ending with only one season. Its predecessor, The White Queen, was limited to one season as well. However, it remains unclear if there will be a third installment in the Starz historical saga. The series are based on the historical novels of Philippa Gregory and there are several more that detail what happens after the events of The White Princess.

It is Extremely Disappointing that the discussion was made not to allow a Second Season.
Perhaps the producers and powers that be will reconsider and give us the Loyal fan base more!
Everything about this series has been Exceptional and it’s a sin not to give us more!
loved the show please bring it back! With my father getting along in age and finding things to be able to do with him we have found commonality in loving the show and being able to watch it together has brought joy and excitement so please I beg of you on behalf of myself and my father bring the white princess back

What a disappointment to just finish eight episodes only to find out the series is not going to be continued to a season two. Love the show, love the history, love the costumes. Come on guys!!!
Please bring it back. It was so refreshing to watch something that was not only entertaining, kept my mind challenged, and gave me something to look forward to. The majority of the programming on tv is boring, fake and most of the comedy is insulting/stupid. I usually record and skip through the nonsense — geez I sound ancient haha. Actually just sick of junk programs. Please return the programs worth watching.

Another short sighted decision to not have a second season. Great story, costumes and location detailing. I am also a big fan of historical dramas especially English ones. Yes, I would like to see a second season!

I’m super disappointed. Makes me very sad. There could easily have a season 2 to at least tie up loose ends and help finish the past on what happened.
Disappointed to learn of cancellation as I was looking to find when next season would start. Just give us more junk, fewer quality productions like this.
