It looks like the reign is over for The White Princess. Recently, star Jodie Comer revealed there will be no season two for the Starz TV show.
A sequel to The White Queen, the historical drama follows the stormy marriage of Elizabeth of York (Comer) to Henry Tudor (Jacob Collins-Levy) during the end of England’s War of the Roses. The cast also includes Essie Davis, Joanne Whalley, Michelle Fairley, Suki Waterhouse, Rebecca Benson, Rhys Connah, Caroline Goodall, Kenneth Cranham, and Vincent Regan.
It’s not a huge surprise that The White Princess is ending with only one season. Its predecessor, The White Queen, was limited to one season as well. However, it remains unclear if there will be a third installment in the Starz historical saga. The series are based on the historical novels of Philippa Gregory and there are several more that detail what happens after the events of The White Princess.

I’m disappointed there won’t be another season! I really enjoyed it. So much that I am now reading all of Phillipa Gregory’s novels. The acting was great, costuming perfect, and the story was compelling. There’s so much more story to tell!
I’m also reading the books.
Really upset that there is no 2nd season! I feel like there was no ending. I mean, did her son’s die? Lots of questions like that are left hanging! At least have a couple more episodes to end it right.

A great show!!! It should have another season. A lot better than a lot of other shows out there! Need to reconsider.

I watched and LOVED “The White Princess”, “The White Queen”, and “The Tudors”. Needless to say, I am a follower. I am VERY disappointed about the series being cancelled. The season finale was absolutely jaw dropping. It left all of us looking forward to what happens next. It’s unfair to leave all of us hanging with no next episode. Please fix it!
