NBC has announced the return of their Whitney sitcom. It will take the place of cancelled Animal Practice in the Wednesdays at 8pm timeslot starting November 14th.
Both Whitney and Community were originally scheduled to return this Friday. Last week, NBC announced that they were holding the shows until a later date so they’d be able to promote them properly. It was also understood that they would likely be used to replace the struggling newbie sitcoms, Animal Practice and Guys with Kids.
Here’s the NBC press release regarding Whitney. There’s no word on when Community will reappear but Guys with Kids hasn’t exactly been doing well.
