FX is going country. According to Deadline, the network has just bought a new female-led comedy from two of the writers behind their FXX dark comedy You’re the Worst.

The news comes hot off the network announcing a third season renewal for You’re the Worst.

The new series will center on “Ali, an unrelentingly dissatisfied TV writer who returns to her hometown in rural Pennsylvania to live ‘the simple life.'” The story is based on the life experiences of You’re the Worst writer Alison Bennett. The untitled project is being developing by Bennett and You’re the Worst showrunner Stephen Falk.

Though low in ratings, You’re the Worst has gained critical attention in its second season, which ends this week on December 9th.
