CBS has had ratings success with Under the Dome, a TV show based on a book by Stephen King. Now, they’re trying the Zoo series which is based on a James Patterson novel. How will it perform? Will the show be renewed for a second season or, will it be cancelled instead? Stay tuned.
On Zoo, a young zoologist (James Wolk) spends his days running safaris in the wilds of Africa. He begins noticing the strange behavior of the animals and works to figure out the reason for them as the assaults become more cunning, coordinated and ferocious. The rest of the cast includes Kristen Connolly, Billy Burke, Nora Arnezeder and Nonso Anozie.
The ratings are typically the best indication of a show’s likelihood of staying on the air. The higher the ratings (particularly the 18-49 demo), the better the chances for survival. This chart will be updated as new ratings data becomes available — typically around 11:30am EST/8:30am PST. Refresh to see the latest.
9/16 update: You can see the rest of the latest night’s ratings.

Note: These are the final national numbers (unless noted with an “*”). These are different from the fast affiliate numbers which are just estimates of the actual ratings. The final nationals are typically released within 24 hours of the programming or, in the case of weekends and holidays, a couple days later.

I love this show…I think it is very good and interesting. I hope it stays on for a while
Love this show.Great acting and great topic.
I think the series should be canceled. I read the book and I’m disappointed with the tv show. It’s dull.
This is the best talk at the office on Wednesdays. We love this show. it’s so different from all the nonsense on tv. Zoo has a different feel to about it, yes it may seem a bit far-fetched , but it makes you wonder as well. Good entertainment.
Quickly losing interest. Getting too weird. Don’t like these series’ that can’t seem to find an ending. If its going to wrap up this season, I will watch till the end. Will not watch another season.
We like the intrigue…. We hope it continues for a next season!
I love watching Zoo. I like the subplots going on with the characters as well as the major plot of the animals. I also like to try and figure out what the characters need to do next to find a solution to their problems.
KEEP IT ON AIR, PLEASE PLEASE RENEW. ABSOLUTELY LOVE THE SERIES!
I hope it gets another season.. first episode was great.. unless it gets progressively worse.. ya’ll can hush
It going to get cancelled zoo just a mini series not regular different to it
Through the writers to the wild dogs. The show has gotten ridiculous to the point I can’t watch anymore.
This show features the dumbest scientists ever. The writers are doing second rate work and need to bring in some real biologists and zoo keepers. Turn your back on a “hibernating”, unrestrained grizzly? Walk into an underground lair of bears armed with revolvers? Every episode features people doing things no sensible person would ever do. And the animals? A little reality would help. If bats are a problem in Antarctica, wait an hour and sweep up their frozen corpses. I actually like some of the actors, but the writers are phoning it in. And, no, you can’t just blame James… Read more »
I agree they need a writer that knows the difference between an endo and ectoskeleton. Hibernation and estivation. And who would only bring back a single pair of rats to study.
I agree. I was enthused by the premise, but it was awful right from the get go. What a disappointment.
I really wanted to like this show but its just bad.. really bad. GREAT concept but horribly executed. Low budget, bad acting. Just plain stupid. Even the sets were bad. Japan was clearly a Louisiana swamp. This is the first series I ever stopped watching.. that should be clue of how bad it is. I’m a tv junky.
