Accidentally on Purpose: Petition to Save the CBS Sitcom

Accidentally on Purpose PetitionBillie (Jenna Elfman) made the decision to keep both the baby and the guy (Jon Foster). Unfortunately, it’s looking unlikely that CBS is going to keep their show, Accidentally on Purpose. The sitcom’s been doing okay but it’s unlikely to survive to see season two.

Remember, the most important thing to CBS and the sponsors is for people to watch the show on their television, while it’s being broadcast. If you like Accidentally on Purpose and want to see it continue, there are a few things you can do to help keep it going.

  1. Watch the show each week, preferably live, and encourage others to do the same. You might know a Nielsen family and not even know it.
  1. Talk about the show with other people; at school, at work, online, or wherever. Creating a buzz about a show gets people interested and helps them stay invested in watching.
  1. Sign the petition below and encourage others to do the same.
  1. Write to the network. Be respectful. Everyone responds better to courtesy. Tell them how much you enjoy the show, that you’ve signed the petition, and that you want to see it continue.   1. Take note of the products that you see advertised consistently during the show. Write the advertisers and tell them that you appreciate their sponsoring the show and that you buy their products (if you do).

    Watched this on Netflix and was instantly hooked from the first episode! I HATE reality tv and it seems to be taking over. Bring back real shows! Also they need to get rid of shows they rerun a hundred times.

    I never really watch a tv series past the first few episodes, but I watched this episode after episode on Netflix. I know my entry probably won't mean a thing and people won't read it, but what the... I don't mean to make a sob story, even thought to me it is :(( but every series that I LOVE ends the first season or at a really bad spot in the later seasons and never post the ending to the show. (What is with that by the way?) Any way I would love this show to come back. I just finished it 10 minutes ago and I miss it already;)

    Saw the entire first season on Netflix and it is absolutely amazing!! Jenna Elfman is so funny and Jon Foster is equally hilarious. The show has and excellent cast with great supporting characters that you just have to fall in love with. I think that the writing of this show is simple but clever and well developed. It is such a neat idea to put on television and I think it deserves at least one more season.

    keep the show.its hillarious.reminds me of all the old comedy shows like newhart. burnett, mary tyler moore.dick vgan dyke.need more shows like this tired of boring cop and reality shows.i want to made to laugh when iam home relaxing,to forget all the crap going on for awhile.thank you for making me laugh.

    Hie! I found this show on Netflix and I was super disappointed to know there aren't more seasons. This show is AWESOME and i would watch 10 MORE SEASONS if I could so please bring it back, the characters are hilarious in a fresh and interesting way and the script just keeps me dying of laughter. It's just a great show that I would love to keep watching!!
