Cold Case Files is back. Deadline reports A&E is reviving the true crime series with Danny Glover.
The long-running docuseries began in 1999 and investigated unsolved murders with the help of modern forensics and criminal psychology. The original series ran for nearly 10 years and was twice nominated for the Emmy for Outstanding Nonfiction Series.
A&E has ordered 10 new episodes of Cold Case Files, narrated by Glover. The new season is set to premiere on February 27th at 9 p.m. ET/PT.

From Blumhouse Television and independent production studio AMPLE, the new Cold Case Files will explore compelling new cases that have gone cold for years and chronicle the journeys of the detectives who reopened them. The detectives relive the events of the crimes, reveal new twists and revelations, relying on breakthroughs in forensic technology and the influence of social media to help crack the cases. Each hourlong episode will feature a single case that has been left unsolved for years, with cinematic dramatizations and first-person storytelling from the detectives and loved ones who lived through the harrowing experiences.”

Was hella excited and to see Danny Glover raised my excitement even more, but to give us 10 episodes was disappointing BECAUSE IT WAS HELLA GREAT! Thanks for canceling a amazing show that was off to a great start! UGH!!!!
I was excited they were bringing back new episodes of Cold Case Files on A&E, but after a couple of episodes it was abruptly pulled. I contacted A&E and they offered no explanation

I’ve been waiting to watch episode 5 like three weeks ago and they just stopped airing the show with no explanation and I can’t find any news about it on the internet or a&e. Very Frustrating!!!

I miss the old format
It has the same format as any show on ID discovery, which on my opinion sucks and is generic
