FABLife has been cancelled. There will not be a second season of the syndicated talk show from Disney-ABC Domestic Television.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, the cancellation news was announced late on Tuesday. The Tyra Banks talk show had a slow start ratings wise. The series will continue production and finish out its first season before going dark.
Janice Marinelli, president of Disney/ABC Home Entertainment and Television Distribution, spoke about the series in a statement. She said:
“We’re extremely proud of everyone involved with the show and would like to thank them for all of their contributions and tireless efforts. We are especially appreciative of our talented and dynamic co-hosts Chrissy Teigen, Joe Zee, Leah Ashley and Lauren Makk, and we would also like to extend a huge thanks to our station partners for all of their support.”
Tyra Banks originally started off as a lead host on the series, but she announced that she was phasing out her involvement back in November.
Are you a fan of FABLife? Are you sad to hear about its cancellation? Tell us what you think.
I’ve been waiting and waiting. didn’t hear it was cancelled. They all did an amazing job, loved the DIY from Lauren and Ashley will miss it. Hope they do an all DIY from those two. GL
I loved the fact that even without Tyra’s presence Chrissy, Leah, Joe and Lauren picked up the ball and ran with it. They did an excellent job – I didn’t think I would like the show but I was wrong! Will miss it for sure.
So sad to see that the show was cancelled. Looked forward to seeing it every day and loved all the different segements. Picked up so many new ideas. The last thing we need is one more talk show. Fab Life was a breath of fresh air.
I watched the show just about every day. The only time that I missed it was for a doctor’s appointment.
I’m am truly saddened that the show was cancelled. It was a fun, family oriented daytime show I looked forward to in the afternoon. I’ve learnt a lot and I love the featured products. In fact I even ordered a few items and was very pleased. Please reconsider and bring them back on air
My wife and I LOVED this show it was a GREAT one . We learned a lot from their DIY. We would like to see it stay. This was GREAT day show for a family who like to do things together.
I enjoy the show it was very informative I learned a lot on the show I hate to see it cancelled.
Please keep FabLife on. I have watched every episode since day one. All foud of those that continued to carry on the show after Tyra left have done a wonderful job. It is a variety show with a little bit for everyone. I started to watch The Talk when it first came on and now I can not stand to watch ita s it seems more like a Sheryl and Sharon Show. PLEASE find a way to keep Fablife on the air.
I truly hope that FabLife returns, I did not like the show when Tyra Banks was hosting but as soon as she left I became an avid watcher never missing an episode. Please reconsider and give Joe, Leah, Lauren and Christy a second chance, please……..
