TV show description:
Set in Big Sky country, this thriller TV show is based on the Walt Longmire Mystery novels by best-selling author Craig Johnson.
Walt Longmire (Robert Taylor) is the charismatic, dedicated and unflappable sheriff of Absaroka County, Wyoming. Recently widowed, Longmire is a man who buries his pain behind a brave face and dry wit. He’s known for his manners, strength, and old-fashioned approach. His dedication to the law and his passion for the great West make him a desirable lawman.
Victoria ‘Vic’ Moretti (Katee Sackhoff) is the newest addition to the sheriff’s office. Leaving the homicide division in Philadelphia after five years, Vic is still adjusting to dealing with the locals in her new town. Her playful relationship with Longmire holds a deeper connection that allows her to be his most trusted deputy. Vic is out to prove she isn’t a rookie and to show she is capable and loyal.
Henry Standing Bear (Lou Diamond Phillips) is Walt’s lifelong best friend and a local bar owner. Henry is a handsome and charming Cheyenne who is fiercely protective of his tribe and serves as Walt’s go-between with the reservation. Being a business owner, he is comfortable with progress and modernity while maintaining a connection with his past, unlike his close friend.
Deputy Branch Connally (Bailey Chase) is a go-getter with blind confidence. He has political aspirations that often motivate him more than solving cases. His resentment toward Walt’s outdated approach further inspire him to run for sheriff, especially after feeling that he is picking up his boss’s slack. He wants to bring Absaroka County into the 21st century, and he longs to update the sheriff’s station with the technology that other law enforcement agencies use.
Another deputy, The Ferg (Adam Bartley), is a big guy with the heart of a puppy dog. He is loyal, sweet, well-meaning and eager to please. A gifted fly-fisherman who knows how to hunt and fix things, The Ferg has a long way to go as an investigator. Even though he may not be a perfect fit for the job, he is no coward.
Cady Longmire (Cassidy Freeman) is Walt’s only child and an attorney with dreams of the big city. After the death of her mother, Cady has taken it upon herself to help her father get his life back together. She is keenly aware of his imperfections and is the only one not afraid to point them out. Her straight talk and sense of humor connect this father-daughter duo even though they both tend to drive the other crazy.

What do you think? Are you a fan of the Longmire TV series? Do you think it should have ended or been renewed for a seventh season on Netflix?

Yes renewed Please!!

Keep it going!
Definitely renew!!! My favorite show, I pay for Netflix just to watch Longmire!
please renew netflix just love this show just watch the final show it can not end this way
LONGMIRE is one of the best shows on TV, and it would be reckless to cancel this amazing show. Robert Taylor brings back memories of great men of western style TV shows. It’s hard to believe but years back, the top 10 shows were mostly westerns. While the show is not a western, it has that feel. Hell, it’s cowboys and Indians seen in s whole new light. Whoever is in charge of deciding this show’s fate should know that it’s got a sizeable following, and we’re all waiting for the next season.
please keep this illuminating and unparalleled series about Native American culture and Wyoming (and nationwide) issues ALIVE to say nothing (HA) of the marvelous cast and writers and many thanks to all contributors of its wonderfulness.
Please film season 6.
Keep it going great show!!
You have a great show decent to watch then you cancel it maybe it is time to turn the damn tv off so you will know who really controls your future
I hope this show continues. I haven’t seen any other show give a picture of life on the reservation. At what point will Mathias be mistaken for a stripper. He has that look.
I would like to add to the list of wanted TV series to be kept on Netflix for the time being. We were so saddened when it was removed from A&E. This series is the best show in my 67 years on this earth. It really isn’t a western, which I believe a lot of people think it is why they maybe haven’t seen a episode of it. It is more like a family show and the characters are everyday people trying to make a living in this Absoroka county. With all the life challenges that can interfere with daily… Read more »
A&E removed it Doris because they said “only people over 40 are watching the show and we are looking for a younger audience for our shows” Well their (A&E’s) ratings have dropped some since they have decided to look for a “younger” audience…and THAT makes me smile..Greg
Good show – wouldn’t want to live in Absoroka County, but looking forward to seeing what’s happening there. 😉
Great series. P!ease keep it on netflix
I looked forward to watching Longmire when it was on A & E but didn’t get to watch the third season because I had to cancel my satellite subscription. I got a Roku for Christmas one year after A & E had cancelled it and then found out later than Netflix had picked it up. I watched it from the beginning because it had been two years since I was able to see it and went through all five seasons in a couple weeks. I can’t wait for the next season to air and I may watch it from season… Read more »
