My husband and I cannot believe Memphis Beat was cancelled!!! We love this show, as do many of our family and friends. The show was heart=warming, funny, clean, good stories, well written and the music was wonderful. We looked forward to each episode and saved them so we could see them again and again. The music was so warm, well done, and romantic. We actually are planning a trip to Memphis because of the charm of this show. Bring it back, please!!

I loved this show; it gave actor, Jason, a chance so spread his wings both as an actor and a singer. I think if the show had been given a chance it could have matched the gritty staying power of IN THE HEAT OF THE NIGHT. The writing would have gotten better, a few characters swapped out or killed off or retired and a new one entered with a similar Southern feminine fire as any one of the women from DESIGNING WOMEN or the sass of Brenda Leigh on THE CLOSER. Now, though it won’t be given the chance, so here’s my suggestion, move the show to Louisanna and the Bayoo or the romantic city New Orleans. Jason can sing the Blues, play in a Jazz band and everybody knows the variety of crime in New Orleans can go from crime family to any range of voodoo.

Memphis Beat is soooooo fun to watch. I’ve turned all my girlfriends on to Dwight (Jason Lee). The singing is awesome. Being in the over 58 year old bunch, we delight in Dwight. The whole show is absolutly GREAT to watch. A nice glass of wine and “Memphis Beat” makes our night!!!!!

This season seemed SOOOOOO short and Dwight looked like he lost weight-maybe too much. Will there be another season? What happened to the Elvis music? That was an absolute hit and we looked so forward to that, the music this year was a let down.
