It is a sad day in the neighborhood. Mister Rogers’ Neighborhood TV series puppeteer, Carole Switala, has died at the age of 69. Ms. Switala is one of the puppeteers behind Ana Platypus, as well as Prince Tuesday, son to King Friday the XIII and Queen Sara Saturday.
Switala is also credited as Daniel Striped Tiger on the Mister Rogers’ Neighborhood TV show soundtrack. The Mister Rogers’ Neighborhood TV series stars Fred Rogers. The cast also includes: Betty Aberlin, David Newell, Joe Negri, Robert Trow, Chuck Aber, Bill Barker, Audrey Roth, Don Brockett, and François Scarborough Clemmons.

SWITALA Carole W. Age 69, on Saturday, July 9, 2016, of Northside. Loving wife of Joseph; Carole was the puppeteer and voice of the Ana Platypus and Prince Tuesday characters of Mr. Roger’s Neighborhood, however, her favorite role was a loving wife to husband, Joseph. She was an avid reader and loved books. Carole was also passionate about animals and to her credit, she rescued 7 dogs from the streets.
