The other networks have found high ratings with singing competitions so it’s not surprising that The CW wants to give it a try with The Next: Fame is at Your Doorstep. The TV series features Gloria Estefan, Joe Jonas, John Rich, and Nelly as mentors and typically airs on Thursday nights. There are 10 episodes.

These are different from the fast affiliate numbers which are just estimates of the actual ratings and are reported on by most other outlets. I LOVE IT! It is a lot different than the other singing shows, and is very entertaining. The cast is amazing!
The ENTIRE New York City and Long Island areas were blacked out due to a contract fued between Cablevisions and WPIX (local CW Nerwork). Not very fair to The Next!
I am so sick of stuff like this on TV. I hope it gets the ax.
