Once Upon a Time will have plenty of new arrivals when the series returns to ABC with season six. Two of the new arrivals have now been revealed. TV Line reported that fans will see both Sinbad and Scheherezade in Storybrooke next season.
The news outlet described the Sinbad for the ABC series as a “roguishly charming and quick-witted hero who knows the power of kindness but as of late has lost faith in his ability to lead his people.” As for Scheherezade, the character is described as “a regal Middle Eastern/Arabic beauty who never backs down from a good fight and can go toe-to-toe with even the toughest adversaries.”
Fans will see a lot more new characters arrive, but the focus will remain on Storybrooke during season six, according to one of the men in charge of the series. Edward Kitsis said the following to Entertainment Weekly:
“One of the things that we really want to get back to this year is that season 1 and 2 vibe of small town stories, being in Storybrooke and getting back to Mary Margaret as the teacher, Emma as the sheriff, Grumpy as the janitor.”
