Meredith Vieira is ready for another game show. Deadline reports the former Who Wants to Be a Millionaire host has joined a new syndicated TV show, 25 Words or Less.
Based on the board game, the series “pits two teams comprised of celebrities and civilians against each other in a fast-paced word game with a top prize of $10,000.”
25 Words or Less is being produced by Lisa Kudrow, Dan Bucatinsky, Mary McCormack, Michael Morris, Bruce Sterten, and John Quinn. The new series will begin a three-week trial run on Fox TV stations on August 6th.
From Vieira:
I’m so excited to host this game. It’s fun, fast and forces contestants to choose their words carefully. Add in celebrities, you’ve got a party!”
What do you think? Are you familiar with 25 Words or Less? Will you watch the new TV series?
I LOVE THIS SHOW. WISH IT WAS ON LONGER THAN JUST A FEW WEEKS. I HOPE IT COMES BACK.
