It seems that people love a good spy story but it remains to be seen if viewers will love TNT’s new Agent X TV series. Will it run as long as the James Bond movie series or will it last about as long as George Lazenby did as Bond? Will the show be cancelled or renewed for a second season? Stay tuned.
On Agent X, newly elected Vice President Natalie Maccabee (Sharon Stone) learns that there is a secret section in the US Constitution. It gives the Vice President authority over highly-trained and secret operative, — in this instance, John Case (Jeff Hephner) — who can handle sensitive cases that the FBI and the CIA can’t. The rest of the cast includes Gerald McRaney, Jamey Sheridan, John Shea, Mike Colter, and James Earl Jones.
The ratings are typically the best indication of a show’s chances of staying on the air. The higher the ratings, the better the chances for survival. This chart will be updated as new ratings data becomes available.
12/15 update: TNT has cancelled this series. No season two.
Final season averages: 0.23 rating in the 18-49 demographic with 1.10 million total viewers.

What do you think? Do you like watching the Agent X TV series on TNT? Do you think it should be cancelled or renewed for a second season?
El Diablo? Really?
Terrible writing. Horrible production. If you want James Bond, watch the real thing.
TNT must be run by same idiots that run A&E. Dont promote or give it time for following to grow. Bad business
Love it. Love love love it
We love it
The pilot sets up a great premise in a very clumsy way, while the second episode was a HUGE improvement in terms of script, production, acting, cinematography, etc. Hope it continues to improve and finds an audience. I was a huge Alias fan, and while Agent X still has to prove itself (and doesn’t have Jen Garner), it could still become a favorite.
I couldn’t get past the first 30 minutes of the pilot. Did no one read the script before shooting began?? Did they just think Stone and McRaney would carry this dog?? While the action sequences I saw were okay (for tv) and Hephner does a decent job….. the whole “hidden constitution” and sub-par acting by the white house staff was just too great a hurdle to overcome. Deleted it from the DVR immediately.
nothing great boring zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz
boring zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz
I think The Player is better and the future sounds grim for it.
I enjoyed it immensely….looking forward to the rest of the 1st season.
I was reluctant to watch anything new but decided to watch Sunday after the The Librarians–which I love!!. I was very pleasantly surprised by Agent X and will continue to watch every week. It had the element of danger while fighting for good. The character John Case is all business but has an element of humanity about him. Gerald McRaney & Sharon Stone are well suited for their roles.
It seemed like a good show, entertaining and action filled. But numbers suggest a short run. Perhaps a shame if the writers had other good concepts for episodes.
It’s a mindless action show with an idiotic premise and pretty bad writing. In the 1st episode a bad guy in white robe gets shot and the blood is on the right side of the robe. In the next scene when he’s fighting the agent the blood stain is on the left. Come on TNT how sloppy is this production? It was such an obvious flaw. I expected better given a cast of Sharon Stone who was just boring, Jaimie Sheidan, James Earl Jones, and Gerald McRainey who I normally love even in things that are bad but this is… Read more »
Glad I wasn’t the only one that caught that. It was pretty obvious,
Jeff Hephner really carries this show. Better than average secret agent genre but made even better my Hephner’s charm.
Agent X is an excellent movie I love both two hour season premiere it is excellent live action pack and I loved it I hope you keep on keep the series going because it is an excellent show.
